I wanted to ask when did you make the first f1(or initial cross) of Rotten pineapple?
Are you going for IBL (F7-10)?

More and more I read and hear about the initial crosses not being f1s until reaching IBL, It sounds right but with the nomenclature is rapidly changing i’m confused.
Do we start Labeling as i1 for initial cross up too i6, then becoming f1?

I’m a bit of a breeder novice. So, I had f1 and f2 confused for a while on some stuff. But not the rotten pineapple.
I first made the f1 in 2019, I think. Not sure how far I will take it, I am trying to get uniform growth, and nice structure. The rank and dank is baked into the two strains, so it’s unique to the nose.
The majority of the f4’s are not stretching a lot. I’ve run outdoors, multiple plots, every year and it never disappoints.

I will get some popped soon. At the moment the plan is to take Sour Serenade to F2, while looking thru Contango and Dream Drifter and also picking new mothers from this current run in the 5x5.
The new mothers will get a clone run and will hit with H/sk1 pollen ( using either the 4 male pollen blend or individual male pollen that stored)
