Welcome to all new members, great to have you aboard, don’t be overwhelmed with all the rabbit hole you can go down here. So much knowledge and info it can be overwhelming. The great thing is all the members are here to share, knowledge, techniques, strains and seed trading are all for the asking, we try to leave attitudes at the door and have a drama free zone . The one thing I have noticed here over other sights is if someone asks a beginner question they don’t get beat up for not searching a subject. On here you will get all the answers and politely be directed to the search engine for queries. Never be afraid to ask we have all been where you are. I’m starting to think of this as more of a movement than a web sight. Seeds strains and knowledge are shared freely through out the world in stark contrast to the past secrecy of our often maligned hobby. Jump in and enjoy, we are all here for one purpose, OG our medicine of choice and preserve foundation strains that are Rare and discontinued.

Hey everyone, I’m new to OG. I’ve been active on a couple of boards for about a year. Growing solo for the same timeframe. Before that I helped a buddy who was doing autos for a couple of rounds. I’ve been growing Bodhi and some chucks from some people on the boards who’ve been kind enough to let me grow and show their work. I dig all the preservation work that people are doing over here and hope to contribute to that at some point.

Welcome @pux, we’ll have you up and running in no time, money he gave us back was ours to begin with, from talking to my supplier a ton of the stimulant money is going into home gardens. Could not think of a better use for it as long as the rent and electricity / water are up to date…
necessities.
Start yourself a grow diary and list what you have and where you plan on going with it, I am in the KISS and LITFA group learning to grow organic from seed in live soil mix. This after coming from a commercial 20 plant flip aver 5 weeks running all clones of GG4 , LSD, FOG, and ST, pumping them all up on AN and taking at 64 days pushing wet buds through a car wash that has to damage trichromes, and curing to a lava rock density for dispensary purposes.
Right now I am on a tasting trip of as many foundation and first cross strains I can get my hands on. Running a perpetual grow with 3-6 plant harvest every 4 weeks with 20 some strains of regs in soil at any given moment. Putting the fun back in growing for me…

I just joined the OverGrow family a few days ago and have been impressed by the reception and warmth of it’s members.
I’m grateful to have found this site! 
I’m a middle aged Canadian…just happy to share stories, advice and friendship with others who share this new found hobby of mine.
I too have been on other boards…and must say, the maturity and the sense of community is what draws me to this site in particular .
I have been growing off an on since university (way back when…
)…focusing on Photos and Autos, but have recently been interested in traditional old school and landrace strains as I read about their differences.
Glad to be here…hopefully I can share what I have and learned, and for those few I have chatted with thus far…thanks for the positve vibes…

My take is Over Grow is basically Weed University populated by stoners and growers (of some stature…).
On top of that is an amazing bunch of moderators keeping the “Drama” under control. And then there is Lemonade Joe, but I’ll let you find the site history story on your own - you will get a kick out it.
