Jacks Nutrients

I’m researching today’s hydro nutrient selections and heard they are good.

@DefNSmokn

When I researched, it can get pretty expensive if you run their full line-

Anyone have any advice about jacks nutrients?

Jacks 321 is what a lot of folks use when using jacks. Its relatively inexpensive and only require their hydro (5-12-26), Epsom salt (Mag Sulfate) and their Calcium Nitrate (15-0-0).

Ain’t gonna get any cheaper than Jacks 321, regardless of the line compared

Yeah Jack’s is like 4-5 cents per gallon; tough to beat unless you literally mix your own from scratch and work on a scale large enough to make it worth it.

I’m using Jack’s on this grow.
Just went to flower a couple of weeks ago and everything is going good so far.
I chose to just use the Jack’s 321.
No additional additives. If I had a complaint it would be the part b doesnt dissolve good.
I’ve started dissolving it in some hot water

Been using jacks now 4 or 5 grows it’s great and inexpensive

I choose to use the 20/20/20 ( 1/1/1/) in veg and flower I use the 10/30/20 (1/3/2) then finish with the 5/12/26(1/2/5 ) npk

I find it gives me better ratios on npk

In watching a video from jacks with there 321 regiment they do recommend using a bit of 10/30/20

To supplement in flower weeks 3 to 5

There is a lot of us here using jacks

Stop by a few threads and see what it can do !

I use Jack’s also.
Whenever I try out an alternative, I go back to Jack’s.
Most recently (two summers ago) I tried Mega Crop 1.0 and switched back to Jack’s after a few weeks.
I grow in/out in small containers with ProMix.

I just made the switch to Jack’s after using living soil/organics since I began growing. After seeing what results a few folks here on OG were having, it was a no-brainer to give it a shot. I dreaded the idea of measuring out gallons and measuring feed and pHing every time but its been pretty simple so far and I cant complain. I have noticed I am getting some type of deficiency since using Jack’s, but being my first run of it, I’m gonna have to tweak things here and there to get it to work for me. But that’s how it is with learning new things, gotta adjust to the learning curve. I like using it so far. And the little measuring cup the give you in the tub is pretty handy.

Like paps, I do 20 20 20 for veg and 10 30 20 for flower, supplementing with 5 12 26 for late flower

I have a master blend 4-18-38 12.5# kit coming from eBay today or tomorrow. You’re more than welcome to have enough of mine to sample to get you though a couple grows.

It’s not “exactly” the same as jacks, but it’s pretty dang close imo. Let me know if you want some for a sample.

You can find jacks kits in smaller quantities, on Ebay. Thats what most who I know, acquire their jacks. That 4lb kit has grown me everything ive grown so far, or maybe it was a 7lb kit, and Ive still got another run or so left before i need to re up. When you break it down its comes out to like 4 cents a gallon costs.

@vaportrail those 3 basic items are ALL you need from start to finish. Ive not used a bloom booster before, i have Jacks Bloom but never used it. The Jacks 321 is a “from seedling to finish” line.

But some people claim better results using this, as opposed to Jacks Bloom Booster.

Btw, ive only used Jacks in coco. Not soil. But there are people who use it from start to finish in soil as well.

Ill have to message. I checked the website but doesn’t seem to ship into ontario sadly or at least wouldn’t work when I tried.
