Hmmm next grow I’m not 100% what I’m going to do or start since i go back to my home state to see family for Christmas for a week. Idk if I’d be able to get my plants into a large enough pot where i can overwater it and come back to it being fine since i don’t have anyone here to watch over them.
BUT plants I’m going to pop another one of these bad girls remedy x RCB
Update did not hermie not a naner just a seed i shouldn’t of given her the feed i did yesterday but oh well live and learn. Goin for the extra week but prepared to chop earlier trichomes are still clear
@Shadey the lighting is making them look milky because after i read that i was like oh shit and i see what you mean but that’s lighting
We ain’t even at week 8 yet lol tomorrow is a full 8 weeks
First pic was a seed i thought was a banana…well this is an actual banana i have like 5 more i can see.
Yeah I’m in the last week and i don’t think 1 week is enough time to pollinate and have seeds develop. But now I’m concerned about the tent and risks of pollination with future grows. I guess i could just clean it like i did with the spider mites.
Which have not come back…i kinda wish my infestation was worse to really test out the mercenary pesticide. But I’m glad it wasn’t because i got rid of them lol
Should i just pluck em as i see em?
Also WTF TRICHOMES so idk if I’m just dumb or if it’s a reflection but i see clear trichomes and amber no cloudy. None of them look milky it’s either clear and i can see right thru or clear with an amber hue
Get the plant back out of the garbage, if you have amber and it’s not a reflection of the amber pistils you are seeing, you should have some milky, a f in doubt leave it another week, just pick the nanners off if you see them, if you’re worried about pollen just spray the tent with water when the plant is finished, that will kill the pollen.
Can see how frosty that is you can pluck a plant when it gets milky triches clear triches or amber or a mixture like that’s all down to you with you being late down the line I’d say pick em off spray n carry on mate that or just chop it now n enjoy the smoke a week extra or not I’d say you’ll get some nice smoke either way with how frosty it looks
It’s just a reflection still clear. So when checking your trichomes @Shadey@Explorer how fast do they change over night a day a few days like when you check and you see clear could the next day they be cloudy or is it a gradual thing.
And thanks @Explorer i thibk I’ve gotten lucky with genetics passed grows were frosty like this too.
I’m gna wait it out fellas i had too many grows (like 3) we’re i chopped early Those days are behind me
It’s a gradual thing, like everything else with plant’s is a gradual thing. It will be worth the wait. Just keep checking, she will let you know when she is ready.
That’s what i thought but i mean with these lovely plants
I feel like things happen faster than normal plants haha i could be wrong cuz let’s face it i haven’t paid much attention before growing. But gardens have been in my life since i remember my father always had a garden every year (vegetable) the one time he tried growing marijuana he tweaked and pulled it it was about 2 feet tall outside among his veggies. I was young and uninterested i wish i paid more attention bahaha oh well
He’s spot on old shadester another week is always best bro your triches will of changed a lot in a week you could check daily and notice a difference but they amber when mature which unfortunately takes time
I’m honestly looking forward to the CBD aspect of it the most followed by taste
I’m going to be giving a gallon of SLF100 and some
Herculean harvest to adjust my pH if need be. Then a gallon of just plain pH water adjusted with Herculean harvest.
The idea behind that is The first gallon will get things nice saturated and loosen up nutes and stuff in the soil with the SLF then another gallon to push it out or down I’m lookin for about a half gallon of run off and i want my PPMs to be in the 250 range for run off.
And I’m not completely starving her because the Herculean harvest will provide what she needs to finish
2 gallons yesterday got a little less than a half gallon run off
I got some supports but my tops are just way too heavy i didn’t even bother with 1 or 2 if anything she’s opening up so the middle colas get more light imo lol but I’m risking snapping of the branches but a few days left i hope haha
And i was seeing amber trichomes…on the sugar leaves i assume the older trichomes haha I’m thinkin no longer than Saturday I’m also going to be taking a taster
I gotta question for @Shadey and whoever else wants to give input. But do y’all trim the fan leaves as it gets closer to harvest? Or just leave em.
I plan on doing a dry trim just gna take off all the fan leaves before hanging
Yeah I just take all the fan leaves and tips of larger sugar leaves that have no trichomes on them while wet, then hang and do a proper trim when dry. It speeds up the initial drying process a bit and saves time trying to sort out between the fan and sugar leaves when doing it all at once.
