Not a lot of growth really, but they are adjusting to the zxmean 30w nicely. The weather needs to quit its shit and get warmer asap.
It’s been a bit, so I figured I’d post something. The growth has been slow, but picking up in the last 2 days. The first serrated leaves have really only made 2 fingers and the 2nd set of leaves is also only 2 leaved.
It be like: Look at me!
The zxmean is officially winning the attention of the plant as of today. No real lean noticeable and it was sunny today before it snowed out.
I have no idea what is happening here, but I’ll keep an eye on it for sure.
In general it’s grown strangely, so who knows those could be stress balls or new growth
Seems like maybe it self-topped, it happens.
Perhaps dim the light or move it further away, could be light stress too.
I’m unable to dim the light, but it wouldn’t be the first time this light burned a plant. Any further away though and the plant leans to the window all day until 4-6pm. Lights turn off at 730am. The struggle lol. I moved it 1 inch down and the plant starts to stay upright all day. My setup is complicated though and I just want the weather to warm up enough to pop it outside
Doesn’t matter if it leans, let it lean, we all like to lean.
I’d say it’s just displaying its inner character…
Cheers

So after close inspection it’s definitely multiple tops all around the same spot. I won’t argue with it if it wants to stay happy. I still have yet to water it once this whole time. As long as it doesn’t ask for any I’m not giving it any water.
It still isn’t thirsty. Somehow. It did self top, but it looks more like a FIM. Sorry pics are blurry. Phone can’t focus for anything all week
Gotta love and cherish the underdog, the strange, the unusual, the weirdos…
Thanks for the continued updates!
This photo was immediately within 30s after the burn a week ago. It got worse after this. I just kept up treating it every day.
Idk if it helps anyone, but 3rd degree burns don’t always have to be bad and permanent if treated well and frequently. Im healing from one now and I grew up getting them. I treat them heavily with aloe Vera. I also disinfect with a mix of isopropyl, lemon juice, salt, and peroxide together. It kills skin cells on contact, but it also kills anything that can cause further harm. It also hurts like nothing else. If you want to see progress after a week here it is
Believe it or not this is mostly healed. A skin layer over it finally formed and I doesn’t even sting anymore. It’s sensitive to touch, so I know it’s not dead nerves. Also I’m allergic to adhesive, so don’t be alarmed at the marks from the knee bandage
Lavender oil mixed with coconut oil might be good too, my tattoo artist gave it to me and it healed really nicely. Naturally antibacterial. I don’t think you need to disinfect it that heavily man, slows down the healing, no need to torture yourself, let it rest.
I’ll be real if I don’t damage it, it scars. My tattoo artist uses something with eucalyptus I believe. Whatever it’s made of allows a dry healing after a touch-up. This won’t leave a scar though and that’s what I mainly care about tbh. Once it heals it peels right off.
Arm healed without a scar
Lil Mutie is officially working with soil nutrients instead of reserves in the starter leaves. Right around when they started to suck the nutrients from the starter leaves they had a small growth spurt. New leaves are growing at each node and they have also officially started growing normal looking leaves lol
Based on leaf style I’d say they’re an indica dominant phenotype. The yarrow photo bombing lol
For my 25 gallon smart pot I have outside I was thinking of ways to bottom water and only a kiddie pool came to mind. I still need a way to lift that fucker when it’s fully hydrated, but who knows. I’m getting my strength back, so maybe I’ll be able to lift 250lbs again and not need a pulley system.
