Mine are having a hard go of it too, for what it’s worth. They look as bad as yours. I think they will come back tho.

If you have access to workout or play mats (foam) it does a great job helping with the cold getting to the pots.

The HPS room got 2 plants smaller. I hate getting rid if plants thos far I to a grow but they were shocked too bad from the cold. 2 more were borderline, but are bouncing back and the rest are doing pretty good. They are not near as far along as my Mars Hydro LED plants. Same Clones. Same Age. Same Flip Date. Same Feed Schedule.

Ph and EC/PPM generally feed at. Took the EC and PPM readings when the water was cold. The PH readings were right before I watered. The water has warmed considerably from whe it was fresh.

Them hm digital pens good pens very reliable i prefer them to the bluelab ph pen, Shame have to get rid of couple plants never a nice feeling after put so much care into them but the others look healthy and bouncing back well how cold was it in your room? The led room looks great im really impressed with the mars hydro light so far created a nice even canopy! My water also cold around 10 to 12c i actually havent ever found cold water to be an issue as once watered pots soon warm up from grow room also cold water hold more oxygen

It got down to freezing in my grow rooms, except my Mars Hydro tent. It’s next to our shop so I think there was a little residual insulation/heat. This Mars Hydro light has been so sweet!

HPS room. Any brown or wilted leave are from the cold snap. All new growth is really healthy. I’m slowly picking off any brown leaves… a few handfuls a day, lol
I pruned my plants from the Mars light in this room.
Here is a really nice side by side! The Mars plants are the 3 on the right side! The Mars plants are noticeably bushier, greener and the branches are WAY stronger and thicker.

Looking good nice to hear the led lights grow stronger plants . One of these years I’ll have to get with the led program just not in the budget currently.

Crazy the growth difference from hps to led do you find the plants stay more compact under led then hps? Will you go full led in future you think? what about temps in led tent is it harder to control temps as light doesnt get as warm i find that can be a benefit to the hps lights in some situations

I would like to eventually go all LED, but as @ShiskaberrySavior said its quite pricy, i don’t have the money to be replacing 4000w with LEDS right now. For my tents its 100% easier for me to control Temps with the LED than the HPS or MH. I find it easy to heat tents but difficult to cool them. I’m my big room its not as much of an issue. However with the leds more compact growth structure and stiffer branches I can see myself not needing cages or nets for support at all

Yes fair point they are defo not the cheapest but i think once investment made the time factor of how long the suppose to last and not buying new bulbs makes them worth it. thats a interesting point as i find alot of these new hybrid strains very flimsy stems that need tons of support im curious to see how they would preform under led. I have a gelato x skittzles plant now lovely flower and thats the only reason il keep but she is a bitch to grow nothing but support she needs!!

I removed 2 really damaged plants from my HPS room after the cold snap we had. It’s been too miserable and busy to get rid of them properly so they have just been sitting in my barn. Well I decided to do a little cleanup today and this is the root mass on one of the plants.
I cleaned the other plant up and just threw it in my room… its not really under a light, just off to the side… but I cant bring myself to throw the last one out with a root mass like that.

Photo dump! The ladies are happening! That one in the back right is just a little thirsty, I was away skiing… I cant wait to examine the differences in their root balls because that one plant drinks so much more, yet they are all clones and even look so similar all fed now and happy!
This Mars Hydro light just takes the cake! I want to get another one and pair it with this one in a 4x8 or 5x10 tent!
