Mars Hydro FC-4800 FTW! :star_struck:

Here’s that one thirsty plant perked back up… she already needs watering again

Not looking too shabby for day 20 flower. I can’t wait until they start putting on weight. These girls are way further ahead and have a closer bud spacing than my HPS plants 🪴

I’m right there with you man. Those Mars Hydro light kits are just a-frickin-mazing!
In my 2x4 tent that SP3000 is perfect.
In my 4x4 flower tent, that FC E4800 is a hell of a light. If it died today, I would buy another tomorrow.
In fact I’m saving my pennies right now for another FC E4800 for my other 4x4 tent, used for vegging and cloning and seed starting, etc. Just to replace my old lights that are about five or 6 years old now. Just want better lights and more flexible.
But yeah. Your garden under those Mars Hydro lights are nothing short of stunning brother. Be proud!

I will be getting another 100% … as soon as I’m back to work, lol. All my doubts about LEDs are gone, I’m sold

Here’s a photo dump from my HPS control group room. Same Clones, same pots, same feed schedule, just different lights.

The plants are nice, but not AS nice as the LED. The branches aren’t as strong, which tells me 2 things. They won’t be able to hold the weight of the buds and possibly not as much feed will be supplied to the buds. The buds, at day 20 are also smaller. I will be changing the hps light bulbs tonight with brand new ones

Any of the brown leaves were from the damage from the freezing Temps during the cold snap

Or, our friends at @MarsHydro could just gift us a couple kits, right. I mean there has been quite a bit of traffic in your thread as well as mine, and us showing what these lights will do for a grower.
Hey! I’m not proud. I like their stuff. A lot! I would take a freebie.

Hahaha Absolutely… I would, in a heartbeat proudly display and rave about these lights for Mars Hydro!:wink:

I say, you have already been raving about the light kit. I have too. They really are great kits for the price.

So do you think the led buds are gonna be as hard and heavy as the hps at the finish?

We will see, I think so. Looking at the comparison now I’d say the buds under the Mars are about 30% larger than the ones under the hps. I can only assume, based on how the FC-4800 has performed up to this point, that it will continue to smash my HPS out of the water!

50 Gallons (189 liters) of feed made up. I make it a few days ahead of time so it comes up to just under room temperature. There is a circulation pump I run about 30 mins before feedings. Here is what I usually use in my feeding schedule.

This is my heavy flowering mix, we are through the transition and early bloom phase and just had the last watering of early bloom feed, they will get this feed at their next watering in a couple days

Spent 3 hours on their Last pruning/undercut today. Both the plants under the Mars Hydro and the plants in the HPS room. I removed the largest fan leaves shading buds first, then and crawled underneath and cut everything that wasn’t getting light. I also changed out my HPS bulbs for brand new ones. All we do now is wait! Harvest should be around Feb 13 for a 9 week Bloom. I also crancked my Mars Hydro LED up to 100%!

Around 30 days into veg what % dimming/distance from canopy were you running? Trying to dial mine in… right now I’m at 30ish days, doing 16" & 60-65% power. Photon says its roughly 400ppfd.

Anyways not sure if you keep notes, just thought I’d ask, thanks! Plants look amazing I’m super jealous of thar massive grow you’ve got!!

I played with it to dial it in and see the different results the average for veg was 65-80% 24-30" above canopy. I prefer my light higher and turned up a bit more just so I have a bit more room to maneuver when watering and pruning, im a tall dude, lol
