Joheim's ongrowing madness

Ugh man, when life hits, sometimes it hits hard.

This happened to me 2 days ago. Cost to replace the engine is twice the value of the car. I’ve been searching around on cargurus for the last few days trying to find something.

Yeah man, I’m letting go of some things after this season to pop more stuff. Sometimes it’s hard to let go.

I do not envy you that hunt. I’ve got so many I want to try, it is starting to get difficult to choose what’s next. I’ve got Shishkaberry incoming from @SHSC-1, Sour Grape on its way from @DougDawson, an ABC cross from @middleman, I’m pretty sure I’m missing one but I still have my collection as well. So I’ve still got plenty to pop.

Edit: Berryfreaks! That’s the one I forgot!

Trust me it gets worst to the point of just closing your eyes and picking the lucky winner. Or putting a post up getting help with your selections. Lol

I might have to, I’m 200+ I’m my collection, and I’ll keep growing it!

I got ya brother!

These clones of Ice pie just went outside a few days ago.

I’ll take a few clones in the morning from the mom for ya!

That’s music to my ears! I’m getting things going well this time. I’ll be dropping a full update tomorrow, but I’ve selected the branches to flip and will be mixing up a fresh batch of STS tomorrow. There will be pics.

I’m sorry I didn’t save her. I have the last Ice Pie I had outside. I took cuts early on. I thought I sent some cuts to you in the spring. I have some I’m trying to root but it will be a while before they are ready.:peace_symbol:

It’s all good brother. They never showed up so maybe not all good, but I’m not stressing. I find stressing seems to start my spiral so I’m trying to leave it in the Fates’ hands, and if she comes home, HELL YA, if not, may she show her love from wherever she still is.

And into the forest…

The Fro-yo seed increase and cross may be down to 4. Fro-yo is doing FANTASTIC! As are two of the Blueberries. The third looks like something is messing with its leaves. Didn’t see any bugs and it didn’t look like bug damage. Maybe a fungus? She and one of the Bruised Scouts may get culled still. One is just not, well, much. Check the pic, she is the one that is… screwed up. The other Bruised Scout is about half fucked up, one side is growing pretty normally, while the main, would be, cola and other side are more like… the first one.
Furthest left is the struggling Blueberry
Then a Beautiful Blueberry
The 2 Scouts (half-jacked and f.u.b.a.r.)
Then a pretty good Blueberry and Fro-yo

Fro-yo got bent over again tonight, and it’ll probably be her last time. Didn’t get to the STS tonight and I anticipate getting called in tomorrow so I gotta rack out.

Need help identifying a sender guys. It came through sweden and I’m not sure who sent it. I think it might be @LonelyOC but I’m not sure. They sent me “Shish Dawg” I’m normally really good at keeping up with who’s sending what, but I don’t remember this one. And if it was you lonely, what’s the “C4DDD”? Above all thank you to whomever sent them

It’s from me as promised :metal:t2:
Shish Dawg is Shishkeberry #3 F1 S1 x C4DDD(Chem D x (Chem D x (Chem 4 x Chem D IBL))).

C4DDD is made by @VerdantGreen
https://www.realgorillaseeds.com/product/contra-d-c4ddd-regs/

“This is C4DD crossed back to the Chem D clone again, which has resulted in segregation of the growth genes – Half of the plants are extra big and vigorous so high yielding keepers or breeding stock can be found, smelling of Pine and Chem. Keep in mind also that the other half of the plants may be small and stunted so if you are looking for uniform plants from your seeds then you should buy one of the other VG Chem lines. 8-10 weeks.”

Hope it gives you something awesome

Didn’t realize I didn’t drop an update when Fro-yo got her first STS treatment, but she got her second treatment yesterday. It may just be hopeful vision but I think I see balls forming! No up close shots sorry camera REALLY sucks for clarity up close.
But first in the pics are the two Blueberry and the half jacked Bruised Scout, which has mostly grown out of her funky growth patterns. The third Blueberry and second Bruised Scout were culled, they just weren’t performing correctly.

Blueberries on the outside, Bruised Scout in the middle. Bruised Scout is just starting to flower while the Blueberries are taking their sweet time (watch them end up photo)

Anyway and here about 10 days or so into the stretch is my queen, Fro-yo by g13 labs by way of @rasterman. I’ve got two branches set for treatments and maybe I can get my wife to take some pics once the balls are confirmed.

I swear I don’t kill everything

Got one other interesting thing to discuss/ document. A while ago I got some seeds from Synergy Genetics (I believe, if not I’ll remove this part when I hunt down the beans tomorrow) and I want to say they came to me through, maybe @SCJedi cause CAD and pigeon say neither of them sent them. She is a MAC1 x Grape Stomper and she has a mutation. All of her leaves are small (biggest are about as big as a silver dollar) and they almost like holly leaves she’ll be going into flower once the autos are done pollinating.

Interesting leaves on that last one. Almost like duck foot but they don’t look webbed together!

No, not webbed. Although I am working on a webbed line, they are just in a holding pattern right now. I’m going to try to get some cuts to root because the mothers are already almost 4’ tall and I only have so much space in the tents.
They’re Swarley Seeds’ “Duckweb IBL x Alien Rift” and he called it “Howard the Duck”. I’ve got the F1s so there is no webbed growth on these, but pairing them off i should get some webbed girls to work with, no pics of them yet sorry

Yep, those were testers from me. I have yet to really see what pollinating the MAC1 did so thank you for sharing this. Please tag me as she develops through flowering

Finally! Yes! she will be documented! She was one of the only survivors of my summer depression. She handles neglect and drought beautifully! I have plans of cloning her out but that’s after the autos finish and I’ve selfed HtD. I’ll try to get some better shots. She is a shrub! The Kush Mintz cross is in line just not sure how far back.

Interested in a cut of her? I have a branch i can send off (if you’re in the US) that can easily make 4 cuts. I got enough i could send a whole bunch of cuts.

No, but thank you very much for the offer!

Ok, so i didn’t grab a whole plant pic yet, she drying from her Last STS application. I was a little late in starting her treatment as such there are flowers in with the sacs. But, we got balls!
