So the 3x4 is broken down and stored for future use, I kinda want a little 2x2 for femming and crossing but in the new setup I don’t think that is feasible presently. Opened up the room nicely, and shutting off the little 400 watt has made it cooler as well. I’ve only got a few in flower but more will be added when they’re ready. I tried to put my LPCs in the flower tent but it bleached them pretty badly so I transferred them back to the Littles tent for recuperation and re attempt in a couple weeks.

What’s up fam… been a minute, I know. Life keeps throwing curves and this time I hit the skids, bad. I’m in rescue mode for one of my mothers, the other two have pulled through. Loud Love and MAC1 are looking fine, Ice Pie is struggling. I don’t know exactly what happened but I’m hoping she’ll recover. So since my flower tent is shut down, I figure this would be a good time to get an auto seed increase and cross going.
I was gifted a number of single seed autos, thank you @rasterman, and I would like the opportunity at growing them more than once so I think next week if the heat breaks I’ll be popping (at least trying to pop) G13 Labs’ Fro-yo auto to flip a branch or two and cross to a few others. Blueberry auto(gifted from another site), G.S.C.x Black Cream auto (@JohnnyPotseed), Bloodcake auto (@ABushOfKush) and Double Grape auto (again @rasterman).
Hopefully the mental funk has cleared out again and I can get back to growing like I know i can. If I can get a 4x4 catch tray and a chiller on the cheap I’d consider an Rdwc system as my best grows have been in deep water. Lack of rez temp control has me locked in coco.

Best of luck with those Bloodcake! I ran a few in 3 gallon fabric pots and ended up with single stalk 12 inch tall girls. This time they’re in a sub irrigated container and are 28 inch branchy girls. Pink pistils on about 1/3 of them.
And again, I’m sure you know but just in case, they are regular seeds. Boys and girls

Oh yes, I remember. They are the first “reg” autos I’ve seen, much less have. They have a special place in my heart.

Good to hear. I’m honestly not too attached to them. I bought the seeds off of strainly and didn’t really like the attitude of the seller/breeder. Since then I’ve been happy to have reg autos to do with as I please, but he made me not very excited to grow them.

Well as mentioned previously as soon as the heat broke i was dropping my next round(it only hit 95 today) and we’re off to an odd start in one strains’ case.
I gave them all a soak in peroxide for a couple hours before switching to water, like I always do, and everything is normal till I get to the Double Grape. The vial has pieces of what looks like plant material in it even though I roll tested every seed. I dumped the vial out to get a better look and 2 of the seeds were normal(unchanged). Of the other two, one was swollen quite large and the other looked like it had exploded in the vial. And there was a little white thing (sprout?) That looks like a pair of white cotyledon and a tap root.
Then I start looking at the swollen one and as I pick it up it POPS! Quite loudly for its size and again out comes a tiny sprout. I’ll try to get a pic of them, but the camera is still broken. We’ll see what I can get.

That’s awesome. I’ve never heard of a seed actually popping when you’re popping seeds.

Didn’t make it back to the forum last night

Never had one literally POP but it looks like 3 out of the 4 i dropped have all done it. Going to try to get my phone fixed so maybe i can get decent shots again, but one is floating the other is sunk. Again sorry about the pic quality.

Well, we’re off, on this branch of madness known as “Auto”! 4 days ago, almost to the hour i set these girls to soak, and I’ve not had this happen before. I set the seeds in their paper towels after a 24 hour soak and bagged them up. They popped, sprouted and a few have even started opening their primary leaves, not just the cotyledon. 4 days!

I’ve noticed that when I put my seeds in the paper towel, before I know it there’s a little plant in there and it already shucked the shell. Happened a few times.

Unsurprisingly, I’m late with an update (not that I’m on a schedule). The auto self and pollen chuck adventure is progressing. We are down to 10, one on the Bloodcake sprouts just said “NO” and gave up. The other 10 are looking good!

The mother’s tent is just kinda ambling along. I’ve got one last shot before I reach out to get Ice Pie back. I’ve learned, “Label Your Shit”- you’re NOT going to remember. On my mothers… I took cuts before I lost Ice Pie and popped them into the cloner. Couple days later I take some cuts from MAC1 and pop them into the cloner. Oh these are in blue pucks and these are in red and black… yep out the window. I’ve got one survivor from either side so one of them is Ice Pie, just not sure which one. Gotta Grow them out to see… oh darn the luck. MAC1 and Loud Love are doing just fine, and my Howard the Duck girls are fighting back from some intense neglect, but are looking good one I’m done with the auto cross, I’ll probably try to cross these two girls. They are F1’s and have no abnormal growth patterns but their offspring should have a pair i can cross again to bring the Duckweb back. Obviously there are some miles between here and there but it’s on the list! And Ooooh-wee do I got some to try out on my next round of photo popping. I may just pop a couple of these A.B.C. crosses courtesy of @middleman just for the fun of it. Imagine a potent ABC… I hope!

So here we have 4 beautiful, healthy, vivacious… BOYS! That’s right all of them got sacks. Not a pistil to be found! They were the only 4 that had a possibility of being male. Sorry @ABushOfKush, they had to go. This is still all about Fro-yo.
So we are down to 6, Fro-yo, 3 Blueberry, and 2 Bruised Scout (which are growing oddly but one seems to be growing out of it)

Over in the veg tent, everybody is getting uppotted, no pics, but I’m going back to my “Grow-cery” bags, all around. I was doing better in them and never lost a plant in them. My attempt at nursery pots was a disastrous failure. I honestly don’t know how my “Howard the Duck” pair are still alive but they’re going in bags also. The only one that may stay in her pot for a while longer is Mac 1, she seems pretty happy.
Lastly I’m begging for my peeps to help me get Ice Pie back. I know only a few of y’all have it, but if you can help a brother out, hit me up, I’ll cover shipping. Damn I miss that strain.

Did you make some feminized selfed beans from it a while back? Can you pop a few of those? I might could pop a few and bring them up in my winter fem seed making indoor grow.

No I was working on it and bugs got the whole 4x4, then everything went to shit real quick. The wife had to have another surgery, one work vehicle went down(transmission) then the other work vehicle went down(blown engine) loss of almost my entire grow to depression and she was a victim. I’m hoping i can get her back from @Greenfingers, I believe I sent her to him. And she was doing good outside. So really hoping, but if not… cest la vie, eh?
I’ve got strains waiting to pop so maybe not a horrible thing if she doesn’t come back. But she will be missed.
