Thnx for the kind words dear Lady Z. Yeah, we thought the same, 3 stints in the left leg woulda taken care of things. But nope, leg still swollen from blockage, painful as hell, and unable to walk. Even if it had done the job, there is a host of other ailments/illnesses for the wife and myself to look forward to.
I told the docs, at my age I’m not going to run a marathon! Just take the damn leg from the knee down, fit me with a prosthetic, and get the hell outta my way… I got too many projects/plants to do and need to be back to some sort of mobile at least. I been sitting here on my butt with legs elevated for 4 months now! Immobilized… even with this rollaround walker, I barely manage to shuffle here n there.
This is the only way I’m even a little mobile, @Oldjoints, @Tracker and @BigMike55 have seen me take forever to get anywhere, and that’s using the help of my wife and son

I know others are in worse shape, so I ain’t crying over things. It is what it is. Just let me get back to some semblance of mobility. lol

I get it…Draig’s chompin at the bit…been bed-bound going on 3 years-- now able to get around a bit…so just put a grow tent in the bedroom for his birthday…since he can’t go downstairs to the grow…

3yrs? Damn, I’d go nuts! But the situations are a bit diff, his was due to a stroke, that is usually a long recovery process. I’m glad to hear he’s gaining his mobility back though. You go @Draig!
I used both of the spare bedrooms for ‘overflow’ rooms (packed, usually lol) for a couple of years. Now that we’re no longer commercial and don’t need any overflow rooms, Rose has gotten her spare BRs back, good luck in me trying to get either of them again! She says not no, but HELL NO!
