Johnnypotseed’s 3-ring circus - with autos, photos & sex…reversals, that is! (Part 1)

It was a little bit of ‘interesting’ reading

I read up on the stuff all the time. I’m looking into some seeds. I can make my own. I’m trying to get somethings going. Been up all night. Got those gears turning. I see good deals. But why spend the money when I can do it myself. That’s what’s on my mind. Lol. Morning Cuz! I hope my son gets the smiley face today. @MoBilly and Johnny I’m working on it. Thanks for the advice.

Do you ever go back home and visit? So much has changed. Some places never. I like those places. Time stands still. Like a cloud in the sky. Losing a family member soon. I hate death.

Naw I don’t ever see me going back to ‘home’… It’s not the same anymore lol no family there or friends. All long gone or moved etc
Now it’s just ‘another place on the map’ of places I’ve been and gone to and from lol

Home is where the heart is, or where the roots bottom out.

Well lol I guess I ain’t ‘bottomed out’ yet. To me this place I’m in now just doesn’t feel like ‘home’ yet. But, it’ll probably be where I come to a stop!
But, we’ve only been here 3 years now, give it time…

Yea. I know the feeling. Sometimes it’s best to leave it where it lays.

Some of us are traveling people. Lol I not sure of the words.

I’m going to my PT in a short and then it’s back to harvest/trimming for me! Gotta get things done here and time is always a crucial & important thing! But i got to make the time for the PT, I think it might actually be helping me somewhat, but that remains to be seen. If it’s just a momentary blip of feeling a bit better, or if the meds and PT etc combined are actually starting to possibly work and give me new hope!
I’m not a ‘downer’ about anything as a general rule, but damn…this crap is the pits!
lol It really puts a cramp to my style!

Good morning gentleman! (and ladies if they are present)…

Now THATS a twist! Usually its the father who wont do something online, and the kid pushing him. Its too bad they don’t register… I bet they have stories to tell as well!

Uhm… you agreed buddy! Its helping you. I’m sure of it… Sure its not fun, but neither is vertigo and not being able to do much… Keep at it bud!!

Good morning cuz…
Gots to keep the PT going for sure lol the son even put an old treadmill in the living room for me to use when I’m able. That will probably help a lot since I can use it every day without going in an uncomfortable drive to the PT only 2 times a week

It’s an adjustable speed electric with slight incline adjustable also so I can go at whatever pace is comfortable
Also, and more importantly! … Bars/handles to hold onto! lol

How you doing these days? I know your schedule changed but I barely see you on here lately. Hope everything’s going well for you.

My friend here is a historian, and makes bows traditionally. He also plays them as instruments. It’s amazing to me honestly.

I’d like to see some of your hand made bows @JohnnyPotseed .

I know I have at least one pic on the files of one the son did that he used for demonstrations at the pow wow I’ll try n find it cuz This isn’t ‘recurve’ but traditional Native American Indian, made in the old school traditional way

Also, river cane arrows with wild turkey or red tail hawk feathered, and knapped tips

That’s exactly what I’m interested in. Recurves are awesome too, but those traditional ones are just such beautiful art.

Wow brother, sign me up. One day I will get a traditional bow. These ones I rebuilt are the closest I have. I have many bows but these are always fun. Still not the same as a traditional bow like the ones I learned on.
