Ok I got up with the buddy down the road.
Here’s the scoop, as I got it. lol
A friend of his went to Cali and bought a MAC1 cutting. He then brought it back here, grew it out and took clones.
He then gave my buddy one of those clones. My buddy grew that clone out and made it a Mother, which he’s taken about 20 clones from.
This Plant I have here is one of those clones.
So, lol it’s not a MAC1-S1…I believe that makes it a MAC1- gen 3 clone. At least that’s what I prefer to use in numbering generations of clone I take. F’all that S1 F1 BS BX IBL, lol
I guess he tossed that ‘S1’ in there to impress me lol
For instance, on my Frankenstein, I’m currently growing Frankenstein-gen 4.
Fourth generation of cutting from the original Frankenstein. That’s a lot easier to understand, I feel lol
I let each gen of clone/Mother grow about 5 yrs, before I replace it with another good healthy specimen of the current clones on hand. I then retire the ‘old clone/mother’ into the bud room, where she gives me one last bit of usefulness!

Nice Johnny, yea so if you take that cutting and clone it again, reverse it and pollinate the other the resulting seeds are the S1’s I’m pretty sure (someone correct if I’m wrong)

There was no reversing done from the Cali MAC1 cut, clones only.
I usually work from clones only. No need to reverse then. Unless you want to make seeds lol I think I have plenty enough seed runs going atm lol

I hear you, I meant to say if you yourself reverse the cut you received those would be the S1’s

How’s the smoke on that? Heard a lot about it but never seen it myself. Also is MAC = “mutant alien cookies” or “miracle alien cookies”? Feel like I’ve heard both

I don’t know if I’ll be doing anymore attempts at reversing Photos. The Autos for quick batches of seeds, yes. The Autos are my ‘cash crop’ until this spring
Then I’m going back to Photos. lol I’ll just take enough clones to give me a good sized batch. Take clones and grow them out until the spring, by the time they go into flower mode, they’ll be nice.

Here’s a small update .
The BOG SBT and Romulan I moved in from outdoors to protect, and let finish up the last couple weeks. These are both preservation/seed runs.
Don’t ask me which is which lol I was hurting to bad to bend over and look at the tags
You may or may not see the seeds peeking lol but they’re there…don’t know how many cause I’m not picking the buds apart until the end.

Also, being outdoors, they were/are loaded with all types of debris, dirt, and bugs. So definitely gonna get washing !

i kept finding catepillars when i brought a plant in for trimming. they were trying to escape the drying tent

Yeah we had a few budworms here too. Them little red F’ers messed up a few buds, but we put so many out there, they couldn’t get to all the bud!
Plus we did spray occasionally lol

I brought 29 inside to finish, there are actually a few of the different strains I hit with pollen sent from others. There won’t be many seeds, but enough to get a start on more lol
