I agree in that the looks etc can be an ‘aesthetic’ value. But the end result to me is…‘does it get me high AF’?
If the answer to that is ‘yes’ than I don’t give a damn about the looks, taste, smell etc

For example; I LOVE the smell and taste of my Kosher Kush; it’s like lemon-pine-sol you want in your face all the time (*if you like that profile); BUT THE SELLING POINT is the high.
Cognitive and free flowing like the leaf on the wind that’s falling to a fro but always finds it’s intended target. I smoked a bowl of it before going over to my parents and then we spent 5 solid hours together Talking without a fight because it let the shit that falls out of my Mom’s mouth roll over me as if I was some sort of SHIT PROOF duck.
This made the stuff a winner in my books!

lol No, I didn’t sleep in, but been reading and getting ready to go with the wife to a heart Doc. They found ‘irregularities/abnormalities’ in her EKGs. So, off to the Doctor, she goes!

Nope. Couldn’t get to sleep as tired as I was. And Johnny always does more before I wake up than I do all day anyway, that’s nothing new cause dude’s a machine.
Today is going to drag. I’m just trying to get moving cause I have some commitments I need to get to. I thought when you worked for yourself you got to make your own schedule and could take days off! Psssh if anything I feel more obligated to go do shit than I did working for someone else.

I had it beaten into me early. I was working full time in the summer doing construction or landscaping while my friends were bumming around or working part time concession stand jobs on the boardwalk at most. Used to just say “men work”.

Same boat dude, I was jumping shingles and digging out basements in 90 degree Maryland summer heat while my friends were out goofing off all summer long. I’ve avoided striking out working for myself for the exact reason you describe, I’d never be able

When I have a customer base with a reliable regular income then I can be more selective and have a bit more leeway. Right now starting this thing up and the season ending means I gotta strike while the iron’s hot and take whatever comes my way. Plus whatever job I do now is a shot at a weekly customer next season.
