Shit don’t catch on fire due to intense snow… unless it’s made of sodium but that’s a whole other problem.

Got half the batch trimmed/hanging and I’m thinking I might be about shot for the day. So probably get the rest tomorrow, Depending on if I ease up on the pain lol, might finish them today.

Since this is the catchall thread, and since some heavy hitter growers frequent it I have a question. Just chopped a plant with a patch of mold. It seemed isolated to one spot on the plant but out of an abundance of caution I scrapped the whole plant. Question is - how concerned should I be about plants that shared a tent with it?

The other plant was downwind from the moldy plant from the fan for awhile but I’m guessing for how isolated it was on the plant that it hasn’t been there long. (As in the other was downwind for a long time but hasn’t been in the last month+ so I’m not sure the mold spot was there when it was downwind.)

I’d keep an eye peeled for any more popping up on other plants cuz Also spray everything down with water/Hydrogen Peroxide mix.
Also, if possible… spread them out a bit more and get a good breeze on em

Is it white powdery mildew /mold and what stage of the grow are you at ?

I was thinking alcohol but I’m glad you said something cause I some peroxide. You’re talking about the tent right. not the other plant?

I chopped it before I noticed, the other plant is within a week or so of chop.

NO lol never use alcohol on budding plants cuz. Only use that stuff on vegging
the alcohol kills THC

I meant for the tent. So you’re saying spray the other plant with the HP and water mixture too, not just the tent?

Raising the leaf ph with either a bought spray or baking soda hydrogen mixture will help along with the above mentioned added fan movement.

yep cuz spray every plant. The spray won’t hurt any not affected and will take vou any that are infected with the PM

I’ve got some food grade 3% HP I’ll mix with water and spray before lights out tonight. 50/50 mix? One application or should I hit it a few days in a row?

I appreciate the knowledge!

Dr. Zymes can help kill and clean molds and fungus and is supposed to be safe to use right up to the day of harvest. i use it alot, not necessarily that late into flower but ive cleaned up PM with it this past year outdoors

Several spays over the course of a couple weeks till you don’t see it .

The spraying is just another foliar feeding cuz, it doesn’t hurt to do a biweekly or weekly preventive maintenance spraying using the Baking Soda/Peroxide mixed in water
Especially if you have them bunched up in your space, I’d try to spread them out and get some wind through em for the main thing.

Might have to buy some to keep on hand. Never had this issue before so never had to research it or buy anything for it.

I don’t see any now. This is a just in case preventative measure.

They never touched and had plenty of airflow so that’s a plus. I only have a week or so left on the one closest to it. My autos in the other tent are within a few weeks too. 4 out of 6 are in flower and almost finished.

Oh my RH in the room for the past week or so is 30% so in large it isn’t a very inviting climate for it. It was shoehorned between buds on the one plant.

That being the case, you might have to tie some branches down to spread them out. Not so densely packed with the limbs up against each other

This freak was the culprit. It was on the right bigger side.
