I honestly see no reason for PM the way you’ve already got them open spaced cuz.
Unless too heavy foliar feeding combined with not enough breeze?
even well spaced out, that can do it against you

Me either! The buds themselves were pretty damp and it was only in one spot where a bunch of buds were pressed together. I’m thinking just a freak thing and isolated.
The closest I come to foliar feeding is spraying down a pollinated plant with plain water the next morning to keep the pollen from spreading.
I think just the little nook of buds there was a nice damp spot for it. I just don’t want to take chances, specially since I’m reveging the plant that was nearest it.
And the breeze part?
But the densely packed buds can do it also. For such a hardy plant marijuana can be so damn finicky at times
A dead leaf stuck in a bud will cause issues!
Those are like a nightmare outside in the fall here. One little leaf, dead, on a nug and it was botrytis the next day. I was adamant about removing any fallen leaf on buds for that reason…
I’ve got a box fan on 24 hours a day in there.
That plant was just dead leaves holding hands for months now Sucks cause the buds looked great up close.
How low are your night time temperatures. If there is too large of a difference between day/night it can lead to dew in the plant, and the dreaded bud rot.
I didn’t see any in the pic, but that too is a good cause @ShiskaberrySavior glad you added that tidbit lol
I always go through plucking any of those I happen across
The bud around that spot was definitely looking a bit rotted, browning out. Not sure about my night time temps. the LED in the auto tent is on until 1 am so there’s a little warmth from that. House is set at 74 but I don’t know what the fluctuation in there is.
That plant wouldn’t have had a leave left on it! I did pluck most off but figured it needed some kind of fan leaves on it and left ones I normally would have plucked.
DEAD/dying leaves only lol I try to leave as many of the fan leaves as possible cuz
The fan leaves were dying too! This plant defied medical science it’s entire life!
I kept waiting for it to just die and it wouldn’t. The thing mutated bad after the first node and I had to top it like that. Those are the first nodes! Plus it lived in a 1 liter pot and has been under 12/12 since it sprouted. The poor thing never had a shot. Makes it a bummer though because she was frosty despite all her obstacles.
Imma puke ……
Good Morning OG!
Good morning Johnny!
Good morning. Hitting some medicine to unwind and pray for a hr or two of sleep tonight. Either way it’s going to be a beautiful day. Too nice to waste. That is why we have coffee after all isn’t it?
Hi folks!
Question on the foliar feed, or spraying in general. I’ve read elsewhere that spraying with the lights on is a bad idea because the little droplets act as lenses to magnify the light and cause burns on leaf and bud.
Do you guys worry about that? Should spraying only be done during dark time?
Just before you turn out the lights cuz, what you read is accurate
I mean just before lol soon as you’re done spraying, turn off the lights…
Thx Boss, I stand enlightened!
I wanted to!
Mornin’ Johnny. mornin’ OG!
Morning y’all. Late start today
