Looks like I may hafta eat crow. I was one of the initial skeptics. Still watching.
Naw cuz, no crow. Just learning is all, same as me lol
Johnny, I’m open to whatever you decide at the time…I believe your logic is correct, however if you decide something different later we’ll get it done…
Thanks Bob
Appreciate ya cuz! But, the one treated plant getting tested would settle all questions as to anything in there that’d cause a ‘fail’. Anything in it would be in any other plant tested, why pay for more than the one…
@BigMike55 …I agree with Johnny. That’s not my style at all…I’m excited having the OG growers cooperating in the grow, and appreciate any and all performance analysis they can contribute.
The whole challange for us is getting this out in the community.
I also REALLY do love working with all the growers whom I’ve had the privilege to work with.
But, you do realize of course, you’ll have the chance for a big ‘I TOLD YAS SO’!
…so move over there @BigMike55 and make room at the table and dish up another serving of that there ‘crow’! lol
Blackbird pie!!!
You know Johnny, truthfully no…skepticism is a healthy thing, and I honestly find my biggest reward in sharing these growers ‘holy shit’ moments…it’s a real kick for a ole fart!
The next best reward is realizing you can have a positive impact on so many peoples lives…it’s actually humbling when you get to that point !
I got my BBP program in full swing now too. Not seeing any difference yet.
First treatment, right?
second one yesterday
I doubt you’d see much change yet
by the 3rd treat you should see a noticeable bit of bigger/more growth. I know I am seeing a bit of difference
yeah i know, one can dream
The biggest difference I’m seeing is in the secondary growth and also a bit bigger in the fan leaves.
The limbs coming out are a lot bigger than her sister. On the BB#3 that is lol the other hasn’t got much to show yet, but she’s a few days younger and 1 treat less
Yeah so far everything is the same, I scarified all 4 of the plants with a razor in a down to up motion.
It’s starting to heal
Maybe I’m missing something here cuz… Why did you scarify them? Were they cuttings that you were trying to get rooted?
i scarify all my plants, in a week ill do it to the side branching.
Whenever I’m making clones, I usually take a razor blade and scrape lightly, about an inch or so at the cut tip. I feel it helps get roots started easier. May be wrong. But that what I do and I have nearly 100% rooting on my clones.
yeah, same concept but im not scrapping it, im making 3-5 1/16th" deep 1/4" the way around the cola about a inch above the dirt, then about a inch up each branch ill make 3 little cuts in the stem.
its a form of supercropping
3 slits
This will cause the main cola to bulk up from the scar at the bottom.
In about a month these slits will be very pronounced but not exposed for any bugs to feed off it, thats why i up-ward slit it.
