Kailash (Chem D x Snow Lotus) Bodhi Seeds

Sounds like a solid plan Legs.
I tend to trim my males to one main top when I first see the flowers forming.(so yeah, about 2wks in) I find not only does it focus the energies to one main flower cluster, but it also limits the flowering sights, making it easier to keep track of the state of ripeness. I like to hold off bagging as long as I can because it’s definitely not ideal growing conditions once applied. I bag when I feel the most mature pods are about 2 days from opening. I’ve seen enough males do their thing so it’s fairly easy for me to gauge.
And hey, I sorry to hear your under the weather. Get yourself better!!:v::canada:

Nice, I took the lowers today but maybe I’ll strip him down to just the one bud site by like mid to end of this coming week.

Fuck brother I know how bad back stuff can be, wouldn’t wish it on anyone, get yourself right and get that pump!! For what it’s worth if you can find a chiropractor that you jive with it can work wonders. They are certainly not all created equal though, likely have to do some searching to find one that’s right for you in my experience

Be very careful with chiropractors, they aren’t real doctors. I have back issues too, and I don’t trust someone that doesn’t have an MD with something that has tons of nerves and your spinal column in it.

Best thing for you to be able to do is not get in a situation where you’re in pain. Preventative management is the best. Once it’s fucked up, you ain’t getting a new back. They will just hope they fix you if you get cut open.

I would do a series of stretchs before doing anything. Do a Sun Salutation or at least a Downward Dog to stretch out your back.

I’m doing the Lazy man couch position
Or, horizontal human position

It’s all good, just sore from dragging 30 gallons of water and then dumping it 30 times.
I was just trying to make Legs feel better, I’m just a big baby :baby:

When I was out of work because of my back, the best thing is figuring out what gets you into the pain.

I found that for me, standing up while looking down would “roll” my lower back. My lower back would be trying to lift my upper body. But if you look up before standing up, it keeps your back straight and you’re in a way better posture while standing up. Doing the “golfers bend” while picking something off the ground helps too. Raise one leg behind you as you’re bending over and it’ll also keep your back straight.

Little tricks like that help me from pulling a muscle and helps keep my discs from poking onto things they shouldn’t be. I purposefully went without pain killers so I can feel what positions cause pain and what positions I could do to stay away from the pain. The back is a tricky bitch.

Im wondering how big they will get in flower.

Yea I guess I should caveat that I just happened to find a Chiro that I really vibe with who’s helped me out a lot, but crunch and stinky are right to do your homework and try other shit first/as well. I’m also no doctor myself so take anything I say with a grain of salt, I know it’s different strokes for different folks.

@CocoaCoir in curious myself, we’re headed into week 2 where I’m hoping the stretch will sort of finalize, we shall see

Starting to feel well enough to get into the flower tent for an update. I did a lot of defoliating of larger leaves and some lower beaches to allow a little more airflow for everybody. Both EBs got top dressed the other day with a full cup of craft blend. I’m a little concerned about their light color, but I know that Chem genetics can tend to carry that lime green color, and they still look happy overall so I’m just staying alert for potential deficiencies. Here’s where everyone is at:

K1:

For sure a male, stacking faster than his sisters, very wily candelabra structure overall. Matches up nicely to the K3 structure.

K2:

Catching my eye more and more each day, very strong main stem, branches seem a little noodle but hoping they beef up over time.

K3:

Originally had my eye based on her gnarly bushy structure but I’m waffling on whether or not that’s a positive at this point. She’s a little unruly and is for sure going to need support. Very noodly/viney branching to her, I’m realizing I want plants that can stand on their own without staking, so we’ll have to see what she brings to the table with her flowers to see how I end up feeling about her.

K4:

The tallest girl of the bunch, very strong main stem like K2, slightly thunder leaves than the K2 though. Not much else of note going on at this point.

Not much happening yet overall in terms of stem rub, some generic vegetal slightly garlic smells but nothing overpowering or notable on any one plant just yet, checking daily for development though. Very strange considering that these all smelled pretty strong in early veg, but we’ll see what happens there. Plans moving forward are to start top dressing with a bloom formula dry fertilizer, I’ve got the blue gold on hand for course Correction if any deficiencies pop up, but hoping that won’t be necessary.

In other news, I just rooted clones of all four of these plants, in 8 days no less, which is wicked fast in my experience. I had connected with a local breeder here and offered him a cut of my blue tara since I had extras and I hate killing em, I ended up offering him all four of the Kailash clones as well since I had extras as well and he jumped at the opportunity. He’s a big bodhi fan as well and breeds with a few cuts of his work that’s he’s selected himself. In return dude passed me a pack of one of almost everything on his menu, which was amazing, but what I was really stoked about were these:

A pack each of his 3rd and 4th generation repros done directly from breeder Steve’s work, no Barney’s farm BS here, really stoked to have these in the collection to look into, if any heads in New England are looking for good outdoor genetics look into Anthos Seeds, dude is a real old VT head working awesome purpose built lines for this area. Think that’s all for today, lots of love to you all :v:t2:

Great update bud! Glad you are feeling better! At this stage in the game I look at the older fan leaves for signs of deficiencies, as the plant is growing so quickly they stay that light green color for a bit. Everything looks right in your world.

I agree with what @CrunchBerries says. I witness that effect all the time in my perpetual grows. Plants seem to always “darken” up as they settle in to flower mode. But it can always make you second guess things especially growing something new or you’re unfamiliar with. Plants look great man and really excited to watch them progress.

Thanks for the second opinions fellas! Appreciate you both. New genetics always get me in terms of coloring and deficiencies, I end up staring at the plants thinking “are y’all just light colored or are you trying to tell me something here?”

I hear ya! I didn’t add my 3rd top dress as per usual last run and certain plants stayed lighter green from like week 5F. I chased the dragon from there. You good!

Dude thanks for chiming in with that. I have heard that the chems and sours can just hold a lighter, “lime green” color as opposed to other varieties, glad to see that others are finding that to be true as well

Sweet grow dude.

Want those plants to blow up try doing a side x side panda Poly vs your bags

Your plants will love you for it

Dang bud, those are some lookers for sure! The other side of the earthbox “shower cap” is white kinda like the panda film, I actually considered doing one white vs. one black but figured a run of the same cuts instead of 4 different phenos would be a more accurate comparison, might have to try that next time
