There’s like a small part of me that wonders if these were mixed up with something else by either the person that made em or the person that sent em to me. Although after looking at some shots of the Blue Tara that has snow lotus in it as well I do see some resemblance in the bud structure, but yea, no Chem whatsoever. Very curious.

Yeah, I was thinking something along those lines as well. I’m not saying they look “bad,” I dig ‘em, they’re certainly frosty, but something with those flowers ain’t right.
I was actually wondering if maybe your light wasn’t/isn’t close enough. That wouldn’t explain the morphology, exactly, but I’m just trying to come up with some reasons haha…
I remember reading a thread (think it was on icmag) years ago about the Massachusetts Super Skunk x Snow Lotus aka Super Snow Lotus where the plants grew extremely similar to the way yours look (I’ll find the link for you if you want. Or you can just look yourself haha, either one). Might just be a weird genetic combo. Or, uh, whatever haha…

I wouldn’t think that it’d be low light cause that #4’s top cola is right up against that 350r at a hundred percent. Par meter is saying it’s getting (admittedly too much) like 12-1500 PAR. The rest of the tent is in the 8-1000 range, so I think they’re getting sufficient light, just seems to be the natural morphology of the phenos. Only other thing I can think is that I hit them too hard with too many nutrients with the two top dresses I did, or there was a ph issue with the water they were getting and the morphological issues with the buds are related to that weird leaf shit, that’s been in the back of my mind the whole time. But the fact that they’re frosting up so much just points in my mind to phenotypic expression, but I truthfully don’t know. Only answer might be to run em again and back off the top dresses to see if the leaf issues don’t show up and the bud morphology turns out different. Ultimately it’ll come down to the smoke to see if these are worth another run to see if there’s any difference in expression, a real head scratcher for sure

I don’t think that’s the one I was thinking of. The log I read (and this really was like eight years ago), the plants looked very, very similar to legs’ plants.
We ordered a pizza and it got here right after my last post haha, but I’ll see if I can find that log later.
Yeah, I didn’t actually think that haha, I was just throwing out “suggestions.” I don’t think it’s your top dressing and stuff, either. More than likely it’s just those particular plants. Doubt there’s anything you could do to make them yield more or anything.
You know what they say about runts, though… Maybe they’ll end up being the greatest smoke the world has ever seen! Haha.

Crazy yard work day so no photos but just wanted to post to say the stank has hit for the Kailash plants. I came inside to check on the meatballs and red sauce that I’ve had simmering all day and had to walk through a dank, skunky funk before I got to the sweet aromas of tomatoes garlic and basil.

8 days since an update, these things just don’t want to finish. We’re past day 70 and still not an amber trich to be found on any of them. Seeds are starting to look ripe in some spots so at this point I’m thinking that if the majority of the seeds on the pollinated beaches are looking ready I might just give em the chop at day 77, I’ve got other stuff I gotta get into flower ASAP so I can start culling some stuff! I haven’t been this backed up with seeds and seedlings ever!

I certainly can’t complain, I’ve got some cut of the MOB, and Blue tara that need to be flowered as well as some seedlings of Kid Kaya’s Super Yahmba that need to be tried out as well. All that needs to get run to determine keepers vs. culls as well as to make room for me to flower some cuts of Purple Urkle and SC Blue Dream that I recently acquired. All that coupled with the seedlings of this years outdoor work has the veg tent pretty cramped right now

Love a good Sunday gravy! My wife always wants to make sauce during the week and I say it’s already 5 o’clock, she will then say that sauce doesn’t have to take 8 hours to cook and then a just roll my eyes and make something else lol
