It was kinda hard to tell from the little pin log I rolled and burned, but I’ll hopefully get a little better taste test in a little bit when we put the munchkin to bed and I break out the hash dome. Stay tuned

Alright. Phew. I know there are some other parents in the mix here, you know those nights where every interaction with your kid is like pulling teeth? That’s where I was at earlier . Anyway, I decided to use the silk roads little hash dome jar thing I bought to sample this pressed sift, and I gotta say this little thing is pretty sweet:
Warm the hash up, form it on the pin, light it and blow it out when it starts to cherry, let the jar fill up and sip as you please. As far as the flavors are concerned on the sift it has a slightly lemony, earthy, and obviously hashy taste to it, pretty nice!

Been working through trimming all three phenos and saved the #4 for last, I think this one might be going straight into a bag to wash for hash, the flower structure is not ideal:
Basically just bracts on a string, reminds me of what I’ve been told Thai buds used to look like, I trimmed a few to try for smoke but I’m having a hard time convincing myself to continue with this one. I’m not particularly interested in this kind of bud structure, so I feel like this pheno is destined for the bin. The other two phenos seem more promising, smells lemons and aftershave with a faint smell of something rotten in the background, very interesting overall

I should mention I found a couple bananas on the #4 too, so, unimpressed there as well. (Side note, can anyone spell “banana” these days without singing that fucking Gwen Stefani song in their head?)

Got around to sampling the K2 last night, very nice stuff. I decided I’d try taking a different approach with the smoke report. Instead of trying to write out a paragraph about the experience after the fact I jotted down thoughts/notes as I was smoking and figured I’d just share that instead, below are my thoughts from last night:

Morning crunch! Yea man, just figured I’d try something different this go round. I feel like I generally know how to write decently but I struggle sometimes when I start writing to remember everything I want to say and end up jumping all over the place. Lost in the sauce if you will, figure this way might be a more straightforward impression of my thoughts as they come to me. No frills kinda thing. Hope you’re having a good Thursday brother

Hit the K2 again last night with some of the pressed dry sift hash on top, suuuuuuper nice smoke! All of the points I listed earlier still hit, really nice, relaxing, etc. super glad I held a cut of these, still need to try the K3 but the K2 may have secured herself a spot in the mom room.
I decided yesterday to just dry sift what was left of the K4 instead of trimming it. Pulled out a good bit of extra seed and a nice little pile of sift, the mom has already been culled, just not interested in her structure, but there are plenty of beans should the smoke be so phenomenal that I feel like I need to hunt through it.
Stay tuned either today or tomorrow I’m gonna sort through all the seeds in total and put together some packs for the heads that have been along for the full ride here, appreciate all of you

I think I’m super keyed into gut stuff lately because I’ve been having some issues but after smoking this one my belly just felt particularly soothed overall
