Kashmir Crowdsource Testing

The kashmir testers in my friend’s grow are showing the same variegation as gman’s plants. It’s pretty much all over the plants now that it has new growth all over from being sexed indoor and reverted under outdoor sunlight. The variegation showed up in full when the new veg growth started.

Otherwise, they are still growing vigorously. I will get you some photos at some point.

The Azad has been in the jar for a couple days now, and I burp it every day.
The smell has really come alive today. Lots of fuel and spice. Its real nice!

I have a few pics of my Azad Kashmir. Nothing but veg now but they’re cool looking plants.

My biggest female of 3. It’s in 5 gal felt pot. Wanting to really spread out.

The variegated pheno in 5 gal felt. I topped it a little late. Cool plant. About 15-20 of leaves have it.

The last female in a 3 gal felt pot and topped late.

This is the one male I have. I left it in a 1 gal hard pot and didn’t feed it much. It’s really cool looking but was going off a little early. I topped it (most all of the flower pods) and will see if it survives that. I think I put him in a 2 gal hard pot to sit aside somewhere.

It got a little burned in the sun while back. Hope I keep it going. I have the flower in some water with bloom booster and we’ll see if I can collect any early pollen.

peace :v:

Looks like an interesting strain.

Those are definitely some cool-looking plants for sure. Kind of wish I’d have kept some of those seeds, but I think the trade with @lambchopedd for the MDS f2’s will make up for it. Still…. Awesome-looking plants, @GMan.

That variegated leaf is cool looking. 2of the 5 of mine have it and I spent like 10 mins tonight staring at them. Lol

I can’t wait to try these. Anyone have reports on how they handle cold? Or how about heat? I read their average is 12-14 weeks. How do you guys find them? @Rhino_buddy

@Xianpreservation83 last fall they handled the New England cold in Massachusetts, harvesting in early October. I’ll be giving them a harder test here in Upstate New York this season. Not sure I can bring myself to give the full size plants that test, but at the very least I will take cuttings off all the plants and make sure they go through everything we have here weather wise. Usually it’s cold and rainy. Flowering time is 10 weeks give or take

I’ve just started the ones I’ve got a bit over a month ago now. We’ll see. I’ve got 3 outside now and 2 inside my tent. :+1:

That’s wicked. I got nothing at doors this year unfortunately, I do have a bunch of stuff going in the tent though

@minitiger, @Xianpreservation83, @Rhino_buddy

Thank you! They’re pretty cool. Really strong plants.

Hey @Rhino_buddy that’s really cool news. It must be fairly prevalent in this line. Any chance one is a male? I was thinking of trying to maybe breed it into a line with a male if somebody gets one. There’s a good chance I may have one in the rest of my seeds.

Hey @Upstate, my Malanas down here are both males. I’m going to plant more, but I still have some in the mountains that I plan to get clones off of. I need to call them today. It’s possible I could go up later. I haven’t talked to them since I delivered a tray of starters.

I need to get some females from that one. I have at least one AK male and still want to cross the two, Malana and the AK. It might be a good match to tone down the Malana that grows tall, right? I’m going to keep these two males of the Malana so I have that other way cross available. Just need some female Malana now. peace

Hey @GMan

The 2 I kept in the tent are possibly male, I saw some preflower pistils on the ones I put outside. One of the 2 in the tent is variegated. Hope it ends up male for our sake. It’s beautiful.

I had a Crockett tangie that I was sure was female, but just started pushing out nanners. I guess that’s a good thing. Nice tight node spacing and a citrus peel stem rub. Everything you’d want in a good male.

If the variegated azad ends up male, I’ll be sure to send you some pollen. I don’t plan to pollenate the variegated one outside since I don’t want to risk cross pollination. We’ll see. :+1::wink:

Good idea doing the cross both ways. The Kashmir should definitely tone down the height of the Malana, and add some branching as well, which can be sparse in some Malana plants. Both strains are very high in terpenes, so The Offspring could be a flavor bomb. I bet it’s just delicious. The full spectrum cannabinoid profile of Malana, combined with the uplifting THC dominant resin profile of Kashmir should give offspring effects ranging from medicinal to recreational. I bet its fantastic.

I can’t wait to start my Bannana Cream project with Malana Cream Landrace :yum:

I’ve got 1 or two Bannana strains & looking to obtain another 1. Cross all the Bannanas till I find a dam sweet Bannana flavor. Then cross that with Malana Cream and hunt for phenos.

Actually talking with someone here to get Vanilla Frosting X sour Bannana to use in this mix

The Kasmir plants are gonna be FIRE :fire::heart_eyes: also can’t wait to try these out too.
