He’s trying to get balls a second time after reveg, set him outside when I culled and hasn’t been back in since. My Thai is already a week and a half in flower and is stringing buds outdoors, Black Pearl and 8’ Panama are just showing hairs. Hope they finish in time. I was surprised Thai and Viet. Do so good in our climate, but it has been 90 and humid most of the summer.

I got all the seeds you sent me started. Number of them have popped. One thing I noticed is they all seem really strong - thick and healthy. I’ll get a grow log going. It’s gonna be interesting because I’m doing a lot of different things with this grow. I basically went through the seed vault and picked everything that I only have a few seeds for. I don’t think it will be boring.

That Viet male looks like it would bring something good to a lot of pairings. I dig it.

Indicas are fast, 50-60, Thai May stretch it a little…I’m hoping under 70. Sativas will be 70-80. Hoping for a nice pineapple smell, next is to hit them again with Platinum Pineapple to boost trichs and give them vigor of the F4, and the Dole Pineapple explosion they are showing halfway.

She went 78 days before stalling and starting to weep telling me she’s done and hopefully bearing more F2’s Hung towers complete to get a dry weight…can’t wait to smoke with a good cure on it.

Is this the black licorice Durb by chance @lefthandseeds ?
i had access to Durban Poison flower back in the mid 90’s. Solid 3 hour high. Special stuff brought back from A-Dam when they were putting out the fire.
So much good shit back in the 90’s we/I took for granted it will always be there. Not always the case.
Also drug busts wiped out alot of the solid genetics from the late 80’s-early 90’s. Holland is a shadow of what it once was, sadly.

The early smell was black licorice anise, got sweeter as she grew and first smoke test a week ago was a pleasant roasted candied almonds. Just plucked another 4 F2 beans off the two lowest branches, broke them up and tray dried for an after dinner mint tonight…report to follow…:metal::sunglasses:

How is it? Of course it’s not cured yet, but a sample is ALWAYS called for. Looks great!

Taste confirmed as sweet roasted almonds with a little of the black licorice taste on the back of my tongue halfway through a joint, buz starts in the chest heart beat rising, turning very visual (wife watching Revenge of the Sif) totally into the CGI catching things I never noticed buzzed along through the whole movie with a very uplifted head and body. No racyness, more like a dbl expresso…buds are medium denser lSativa shape withHard inner balls. Easy to clip a joint of just hairs.
