Landrace strains - general thread

I my friend and I talked and he said he might want to do that at his farm and that we could make a bed for it behind the barn! Hope we can actually do it and set up a nice discreet greenhouse or at least a cover for outdoors and to block the helicopters :eyes:

They still fly looking for plants?

My Red GSC and it’s the best smoke I’ve ever had. It’s like you crammed all the goodies from OG Kush and Durban Poison into one plant, very gummy when dried.

Pictured next to a Thai Plant.

Tiny Tim the Thai plant from cutting. Damn, its strong! Harvested half. The other 8 inches are what you see lol. 1 gallon container. Momma of OST.

Whoa! Can you describe the smell?

@SativaKid Which one? Lolab valley Kashmir is straight lemon stem rub. I love lemon! . Oaxaca is fruity, floral or Frankincense. This one(.i see which you are asking about now ) is a Frankincense smelling “Old Silversides " phenotype Oaxaca. The small bud in my fingers was from a Oaxaca plant dubbed " Miss Ridiculous”, a daughter of Old Silversides. It’s extremely potent with a trippy, drunklike mushroomy high that had me slurring my words and staggering with a second bowl full smoked right after the first one. She is revegging now😁
Anyone that has followed me on my land race Journey here on overgrow knows how excited I am about the Lolab Valley. I spent nearly $500 and only got two males out of my first hundred seeds. A fellow preservationist hooked me up with 25 P2 seeds this spring. Out of these there are 4 females, 5 males and one unknown. With legalization here in New York it has opened up some doors for me. Most of my family smokes pot and they are not diehard Growers, so they ( me)will grow what i ask them to. I have pollination rights😁

The Oaxacan sounds like a Thai profile. Trippy and strong.

Oaxaca and one of my old heirlooms, grown by my cousin. This is the " midget" strain, likely a Pacific Northwest heirloom. Flowers in around 6 weeks.
All plants were vegging and rootbound in half gallon containers at planting time august 12th. 2 heirlooms picked Saturday already at day 36?

Wow 6 weeks? Impressive. Nice looking garden there. Looks like that Oaxcan is just starting to flower, hope she makes it to the finish line!

No hope for Oaxaca but it sure is pretty! Just starting flower. Hoping to cross the 2 strains at least. Seeds on Oaxaca might finish. Its surprisingly frost hardy.
Actually 36 days for the tallest purple one and the short purple in front😁 pretty crazy to think but I guarantee you it was pickable a week earlier. It’s a little later than I like it personally but they like it a little later.
Maybe the stress of being root bound helped them flower quicker than normal. I’m having a tough time believing this myself but I documented it with texts. Crazy fast.
