Landrace strains - general thread

I’ve got some SnowhIgh double panama seed from a Freakers run I can part with. You too @hawkman. You’ll have to wait a little while for my season to wind down so i can find some extra time to get them out though. Waiting for a rainy weekend day off.
@Panamajock is the guy to talk to about the plants and high. I did a seedrun but never grew them seedless. He has been growing them in Panama. 15 weeks flowering or so.

Which ones from Ace have you tried and how were they?

It’s the two Panamas I had posted in the Colorado Sativas thread, I believe I have a red and green pheno but should have a better idea once harvested. This is my first time growing with ACE. I need to update that thread though as they have grown a lot since my last post.

Agreed!

I have some of those too, and am looking forward to your report. I was pretty intent on running them next summer, but i keep getting awesome seeds, and so i keep changing my plans for next summer.

What sort of scents/aromas are you noticing with the green Assam?

I thought all strains were midget strains

There’s some midgets in there but also some plants in there that are a hybrid of my uncles old 75 Afghan and my old strain i grew from 91-2017, likely an old Blueberry. The big purple in the first picture i posted of the garden was one of them. They are the bigger plants, only short due to late planting. Two or 3 of them in there. Some of the midgets hit almost 4 and a half feet in a 25 gallon container this year at my other cousins place, but usually they are 2-4 feet.
I have different lines i have kept, some shorter than others.

This one is the hybrid of the two.

Fruity aromas. I think the red phenos are feral and the farmed version are the green ones. Nice plants.

Funny question but maybe not :joy: how far north do native ruderalis plants grow in the wild? Cant find any that i like on the internet nor any data from where they were taken.

So do they reach to 54° or further?

If you’re interested in ruderalis from northern environment you may want to reach out to Landracebureau@gmail.com - i believe they have ruderalis as far north as Siberia.

Khalifa genetics has the siberian gathered by landrace bureau and then ‘stabilized’ for indoor, link below > Siberian Ruderalis - Khalifa Genetics - Regular Landrace Seeds

I have some Panama a friend got in Panama. I gave some to another friend he grew them in an amazing journal. The journal is on grow diaries as “lambton County 8 Strain”.

Probably fuether North than 54 degrees but that is the Northernmost collection for sale that I know of.
