So my nanan bouclou is at 11wks today and has started throwing new flowers! There is white pistils everywhere but some are starting to brown. @Panamajock and @yobigdaddy did you notice this as well? I remember some Oaxacan I grew last year did the same thing. Also my second nanan must have thrown a nanner cause I’m seeing a few seeds forming. I found one but the buds are so packed in I can’t see all around lol. As far as I can tell my Spear of Destiny hasn’t thrown any nanners I’ll load picks when lights come on tonight.

When a plant pushes out another burst of flowering that is called a " flush". Some of the more famous commercial varieties will do this if conditions are right. A good grower can pull in an additional 25 to 50% yield with a well-timed feeding. The feeding should occur in anticipation of the flush, so the food is there waiting. My cousin was just spot on with his growing. I swear the plants talked to him and he knew exactly what they said. “Feeeeeed me more now…”
There is always risk of having leftover food with a late feeding so I don’t do it.

I’ll probably dig up the Nam Gold males and save it for another breeding project.

Sounds like you nailed it buddy. It’s always tough to time things perfectly when you’re growing something you’ve never grown before. I screw up all the time😁
