So it begins this year , i was gifted these seeds through @zavorotnuck and @Faithisyours last year these are called Up`zz and they have been developed for outdoor in Finland at latt 65 North over a 20 year + time period, this is what the breeder said about them,
" Starting 2004, I managed to lay my hands on the first Low Ryder#2 to ever exist in the world. I crossed it to my ‘Double Fun’ indoors Early version, and bred it in towards the auto trait while only using the Double Fun anymore thereafter until it became fully Auto and do well in outdoors.
In 2005 I managed to lay my hands on the first Diesel Ryders to ever exist in the world. I crossed them out to my Double Fun Autos. After that I managed to lay my hands on the Thyphoon, and crossed them in with my Autos until I was finally left with some well performing bigger Autos. Then came the Royal Dane, the Peruvian Sativa, the Matanushka Thunderfuck, the AAK47, and this went on and on with more and more Auto flowering strains until finally the Up’zz were made up of about 55 different strains. I would lay my hands on some new strain, reproduced them en masse, and would add them time after time to my existing main stock. I would do this on a way that I was avoiding close inbreds, while selecting for the most enjoyable and comfy Sativa kind of highs.
After that I went selecting for seed size only. > I had noticed that the plants that were being grown from the smallest seed, well, they would result into plants with the most Sativa leaning effects. So I’ve been sieving seeds to size for 5 years in a row, and would only sow out the seeds that would fit through the smaller than 2.5 mm holes.
What came out of this, I then called: The Up’zz. ‘Up’ stands for: Uplifting high, and the 'zz stands for the calming comfortable effects that it simultaneously will be producing as well, but without it producing a tiring couch lock. > Like on a way that they feel warm and relaxing at the same time, and not go all racy-making inside the head and body, or get all sorts of shitty paranoia thoughts or dizzy feelings on it at all.
Because of the open pollinated Heirloom method I was using, it was not a strain that was super potent. It was just very nice weed for me to smoke.
In order to get it more potent, I used some of the 2.5 mm seed size Up’zz as a base to add more potent strains to, like the Black Berry Gum Auto, and the AutoCindy99/Auto Haze. I Personally like them all 3 on each their own way. Pure Up’zz would be typical morning wake and bake smokes. C99/Ahz/Up’zz would be typical ‘Daytime kick in the ass’ kinda smokes, And BBG/Up’zz would be typical evening ‘puff and chill’ kinda smokes."
Wish me luck im going to need it, my hope is to cross them with each other so i can get a heap of beans to give to other people, same way as they were gifted to me
