They all look good. What strains did you use ?
This was all the stardawg crosses. So bingo pajamas, shiva cookies and shiva cross.
Still busy cleaning out the flower room, taking it slow as thereās still a week or 3 before plants are ready to go in. I found a really nice male of the Lococookies (locomotion x GSC) and Iām going to try a little breeding attempt on some of my moms / keepers.
Going to throw some pollen on:
Citrus Drop
Buckeye Purple
Shiva cookies x Blues
and then maybe also
Spitting Cobra
1st Aid
Bingo pajamas x Stardawg
hereās the male, has a very strong fuel smell on a stem rub:
damn thrips been nibbling on it though.
And my pheno hunt coming along. 5 boys and 5 girls so far:
Chucked the boys as there was nothing overly great looking on them
Thatās a chunky looking boyā¦ will be interesting to see what he does ā¦ those Space Monkey x Blues are looking good too ā¦ should defs put that male over one of those
Vegging plants coming along. Been doing some intense spraying and washing to clean out the pesky bugs then itās time to up pot the male and ladies for flowering time. Also trimmed some lower leaves to keep bugs in check.
And some new things to try, my half of a seed trade:
LEMONā¦ DAWG! What is this magic?! youāve broken my face man I canāt compute that information.
Lols yeah itās from 707:
LEMON DAWG
Lemon Dawg is a cross between Lemon Tree S1 and a 707 Chemdawg Male. The Lemon Tree S1 used in this cross has one of the most flavorful terp profiles. Definitely in my top 5. Lemon, citrus, skunk, raspberry are just a few of the notes I get. The Lemon Tree S1 is very dominant in this cross. Indica dominant plants grow strong and short with large leathery leafs. The 707 Chemdawg male has added much-needed vigor to the Lemon Tree.
Harvest: Indoor 8-10 Weeks Outdoor Mid Oct
Where does one in Europe get his hands on those seeds Iāve heard most of the dawg like banana n strawberry etc but Iāve not seen a lemon one. If it truly is a fruity version with that stardawg flavour Iāll legit fall in love. That said Iāve not ran any of the @Sunvalley crosses just yet but Iām a huge lover of the stardawg so this lemon one sounds right up my alley bro.
I got it as a trade so no idea how to get at it. It only appears to be listed in US seedbanks. https://707seedbank.com/
And which crosses did you get from Sun? Iām pretty impressed with the shiva cookies and stardawg for yield + frost while the bingo pajamas cross has some great terps and an awesome fade.
I popped 5 Lemon Dawgs and got 5 up. One runt never made it though but still ā¦ letās hope for at least 1 girl. Cracked those Dosidos x Roadkill and the WiFi Roadkill too so letās see how they doā¦ kinda excited ā¦ good luck with yours tooā¦
@Explorer I hope those beans make it over to you bro
Not sure yet bro Iāve got a mixed surprise of goodies coming and maybe Iāll get my hands on it one day everything gets around eventually And me too @Sunvalley Iām not in a rush though so Iāll just wait patiently and get a surprise when they turn up, no idea on postage times from there so Iāve not put an estimated time on it
Letās hope 3 weeks around to get over there but be warned it has taken 7ā¦months
Yeah if itās still in the post you can just hurry up and waitā¦itās so random when it comes to the time frame.
Plants growing nicely and mites are gone so just got to keep up the ipm for now.
My male re-potted and ready to go:
The moms. Re potted the ones Iām going to do the breeding run on. Bit of an overkill for such chopped back plants but i donāt have smaller pots.
Good times ahead ā¦ should make some good beans
Sick !! Looking FWD to how things turn out with them
Me too 20 characters
Oh shouldāve listed the strains.
Male in the middle is LocoCookies (locomotion x GSC) by @Sunvalley
The the ladies are:
Buckeye Purple x 2 ( Someone didnāt label his plants properly so he doesnāt know which one was the keeper so running both)
Citrus Drop
Shiva Cookies x Blues also from SunValley
Had planned on chucking more strains in but Iām limited with space so running them all would take forever. Might throw one more seeing as a BEP will get chopped
Hereās my new fermented compost bin with only fruits and veg like butternut, pumpkin plus beetroot. For fruit itās paupau and bananas. My plan is to bomb the fermented juice it makes during flower see how that works. Going to make a mix of old beer, barley meal and old milk / yogurt which gets poured over the top to aid in the fermentation. Itās a bin setup similar to a worm farm so the juice all collects in the bottom bin. Itās pretty much the same thing as bokashi.
It smells rank though and bug larvea falls through the holesā¦ But the plants love it and you canāt seem to burn or over feed them.
After awhile when the compost has turned to mush I mix in some peat moss and old soil. Leave that for a week or 2 then transfer that into the worm bins. The worms work through that much faster. When I up pot my females Iāl also add some on top of the soil in between the mulch. The idea is that the worms come up to feed on that.
