Moose are amazing. How does something the size of a horse slip into the woodline and DISAPPEAR?

I have a family under my deck just about every Spring

They like to use the porch at my horse stables every spring too. The cries/barks at night are cool to hear.

Yeah they are! They sound like a woman screaming at times, kinda creepy

All of these pics except the one with the snapper laying eggs were taken
from inside our home. Tri-pod and remote shutter release.

The camera is a Canon Power Shot SX 60 which is a point and shoot style camera.
What I like is the digital zoom which gives me 65x zoom. The deer with the newborn fawn was over a hundred yards away, and I can still fill the frame when zooming in. The Barred Owl shot was also about a hundred yards away.

A tri-pod, remote shutter release, and camera was just over $500 which compared to a really nice camera and some long range zoom lenses would cost many fold more than what I paid.

After a thorough cleaning, it didn’t take long for this little milky licker to

The Eagle Has Landed
He landed on top of what looked to be a mole. After a good squeezing,
it was back to the nest with some fresh mole mush.
