Liquid Mycos smell like rotten eggs?

So I like to add Mycos every feeding. Just the weird thing I do, it’s my secret sauce if you will. I used to use all dry Mycos but when I switched to flora caps it was easier to use liquid Mycos. I switched from great white shark to orca and all was good. All of sudden the orca has gone funky and has a rotten egg smell that wasn’t there initially. Does this stuff go bad or this smell a sign of an issue? Thanks for any input.

you should try the manufacturer as they will be better to advise you on an issue as you stated about the smell. I have found that in the past though word of mouth is good, it’s better to go straight to the source as they should always have the right answer.:sunglasses:

Well that can’t be good. How old is the bottle?

If you do call pls let us know. :+1:

I used a bottle of that in the past, it had a light mildew smell to it, not rotten eggs though, maybe it’s gone anaerobic.

Yeah I mean it seems like it turned. I’ll reach out to them and report back. It’s maybe 2 months old bottle is about half used.

This was their response. Turns out it’s fine to use great white shark in reservoirs so I’m switching back but the orca is still fine to use.
