London pound cake og challenge

Well, you can tell that she isn’t lacking in the root department. I’d say those are plenty thick. lol

I have a LPC in the ground that I, sadly, did not enter into the challenge. I just have one inside plant left. She is 4 weeks into flower. And looking pretty nice after I dialed in the light from like 40% to 90%. Hehe.
Outside girl is, in my opinion, a much nicer plant, but she is just now forming her budsites.

Glad the light adjustment got you back on track. I haven’t seen the outside one I gave to my buddy, I’ll check it out this weekend.

So what would you all say if I said I have one I just started flowering? So in my attempt and success at overwhelming myself, my starts for the “competition” got shuffled around then she got up potted and I was about to put her in flower and I see bug damage. So isolate and hit with the ultimatum a couple times and she’s ready to hit the flower tent. Finally. I don’t expect her to qualify although she is the only LPC 75 cross (from @Maddawg) i have running. The others came from Swarley Seeds.

Very nice brother.
I zoomed in on that second piccy to view the trikes. She’s loaded. Incredibly awesome work. Makes me want to put away my grow lights.

Almost.

LOL You’re too modest my friend, I’ve been to your house often enough, and seen your grow. Beautiful!
Too many different strains for it to always be the genetics! lol Every time I see your room, or the OD, they ALL look grand!

@Oldjoints is a friend, first. But not being biased when I say I classify him as a Master Grower!

I reckon it comes down to, if ya do something fairly well, long enough… you gotta get to being good at it! lol
I grow purely out of love for the Ganja, and that helps too!
For the first 20 yrs of my life, I had 3 Master Growers teaching me!

I think when you truly enjoy a hobby you don’t mind doing the research and the work to excell at it. It’s not a chore it’s a delight.
I truly love growing plants, not just cannabis but plants in general. I have had many gardens for food and flowers.

These are in my front yard:

Sounds lovely doesn’t it. It’s actually a LOT of work and very expensive. I spent
3 months and $8000 on remodeling a gutted 2 car garage into my grow-room. $5000 on a driveway. $3500 on a front porch and these are all the non-essential items. I spend about 3 days every week just mowing and trimming
2 1/2 acres. I have a large deck planned for the rear of the house that will cost another $10,000. Luckily these are all investments as it does nothing but raise the value of the property. Unfortunately I plan on dying here so will never see the money but will get to enjoy the fruits of my labor.

Nothing home improvement or concrete work is cheap. My daughter and son in law both work for concrete companies, I still can’t afford a 200 foot concrete driveway. I also have 2.5 acres of farm land right between 5 acres of grass that my neighbor cuts for his cows.:green_heart:
