I am being cut out of the project like you don’t know me or what I have done on this project.
Like I said this decision is up to you and you alone.

nope, the descision about the seeds in general has been made by blueridge.
i am not screwing anyone over, lol …
i am just not bound to do what someone else (may have) promised to you or not.
i can take care of you, of course !!
but please be kind and fair, mate.

I put a lot of time and effort into this project.
My work here is evident, if you feel I am not deserving then that is your choice.
I only hope you treat me fairly.

If you want a pack of seeds increased , do it your fucking self , don’t come here and all uppity, expecting your ass to be kissed which is exactly how this all presents to me now and did at the beginning.
I’ve done a seed increase with another well known member;s beans… was drama free and enjoyed by everyone who participated. I didn’t ask for a dime from the community, not a seed puck nor a coin flip. Many offered, I declined. I had a great time and so did everyone else and i like to think the owner of the seeds I increased was pleased with the results. That’s how it should be. Not this crazy adventure in exculsivity.
I have lots of high end beans… packs worth more than I will share the price tag of hehe and several Aficionado lines.I still have on ice and some I have already grown. So when these came up… I didn’t care about all that, I only cared that shag considered me as a trusted and exerienced grower that would not disappoint anyone and asked me if I was interested in the project. It’s my opinion that this seed increase should have been done privately and not taken advantage of San or any other grower for that matter.
I see an individual who has created a shitshow over his precious beans and pitted two respected members against each other over a bunch of seeds.
@shag and @santero , I want to see peace and friendship between you two guys. Despite the requests of Blueridge, you guys should work this out as a priority between you and look after blueridge after that. In my opinion and I will admit right now… I am indeed an opinionated asshole, though I try and only direct that at people who I deem really worthy of it LOL
I don’t think Blueridge should be afforded the opportunity to offer anymore public seed increases. The guy is obviously clueless to the shitshow he created yet he accuses everyone else of bringing drama LOL Do the seed increase yourself next time.

it just pains me to see a rift between two members I respect and one I consider a close friend.
My opinion may not be welcome but if I may be as bold as to present a mediation in this situation here is what I have to say.
santero and Shag should work together to satisfy whatever shag was promised.
santero should keep his share of the seeds under whatever terms he agreed to.
whatever is left should go to blueridge which I assume will still be the majority of the seed.
Let those who were hoping for a wiki and followed this all year be disappointed… it’s only seeds right?
and blueridge should not ask people to do seed increases if he can’t be “OG” about it.

now @shag and @santero , I highly doubt the community will fault you for following my suggestion for mediation. I just want to see you guys walk away from this with respect and friendship between you

No @santero , you misunderstand my intentions here. It is NOT in defense of shag to see him get seeds.
It is only to bring peace between the two of you.
We don’t know each other well so I can just say I hold respect for you no different than respect for shag. I have just known him for years now and I can vouch for his intentions in the community.
My posting in this is because I was the first grower approached for this and I could forsee an ending that would be full of drama by what I sensed from the owner of the seeds from the get go. I bowed out of this repsectfully and with no dramatic intentions. Then I sat back for the past year and watched this all play out. Stunned to see how it has come to pass.
That is not on you or shag but you both dedicated way more to this project than blueridge did.
He passed off some seeds to be increased for himself and wholly took advantage of you and shag both. So I sincerely and with no other motivation, just want to see the both of you part from this with respect and friendship. Blueridge be damned LOL
this whole situation never should have happened and I am glad I dodged a bullet by backing out early

I really struggle to understand why there is so much history for a handful of seeds.
I am no one here and I would like to know what is so special about these seeds that they cause so much noise and conflict between people who usually like each other…
I know @santero a little and he agreed to do this seed increase with all his know-how and his great humility which is to his credit
@shag I don’t know you personally but you seem like a good person and I don’t know what was agreed for you with this @blueridge
I also wonder why call on someone else’s talents to do a seedrun if it’s just to ensure that it will grow well and keep exclusivity on the seeds without at least benefiting the person who started it. invests time and space to make this kind of project come true… but then again I’m nobody here

This reinforces for me why NO seeds are worth $500 a pack.
At the very least it inflates what those seeds hold and at its worst it creates what we have here.
@santero whatever you decide should be good enough.

I agree with that statement whole heartedly. The only reason that much is charged for a couple seeds is because there will always be someone who gets sucked in, truth is you will find better genetics right here…. for free. There is so many great people here making all these crazy strains it’s unreal

I’ll happily repro that sorbetto behind closed doors - don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings: or keep em locked up. Not sure how this thread soured so hard when the motives were positive from the start.

@Blueridge did not want to hand out these beans to those who he felt disrespected him.
Some folks here thought that was out of line and everyone should get them despite how they acted.
I personally do not agree.
If they were his seeds he should be able to do with them what he wanted.
I feel everyone should have realized from the start these beans were not going out to everyone.
We would have done a co-op repro if that were the case.
If you were @Blueridge would you put another pack of $500 seeds up for a repro when you had to walk away from the first pack due to all of the drama?
I don’t think we will see the Sorbetto being reproduced for distribution, at least not here on OG.
