Breeding is about what YOU want. You’re expressing your desired traits in a plant. You make the choices and you send those out to your friends.
The fun of overgrow is making friends with others on the board, sharing your beans with them and vice versa then discovering new flavors by growing your new friends gear.
Maybe that a pause this season, observe which plants you like the most then make a breeding project with stuff you know you like? Nothing worse than making thousands of beans nobody grows
I’m kind of on board with @sardinebags make some beans you really want to grow. I don’t have enough experience with all the different strains to even pick. Seeing other folks grows and descriptions is what gets me excited for different strains.

Sorry if I came across aggressive, I’m actually excited for you and try encourage you to breed towards what makes you happy. If you just want some beans to trade I don’t think you can go wrong. Both those males will probably makes some fire beans.

I’m pretty sure I got 3-4 males and 6 females…I think what it really is ,no one’s worked any of the same genetics so they dont have enough strain info to care … before I by seeds I always do research…that way I know…
I think you’re doing great, man! If you took the time to look around here you’d see 100 other people chucking pollen and trying to make things they want to see! Myself included. I know I’m interested in seeing what you think will be great, but also keep in mind the genetics you’re using… some will be far more interesting to this crowd than others. Some may have already made their mind up about a breeder. You also keep saying ‘only those cool’. Inclusivity is cool! Being friendly is cool! Haha I’m excited to see you make stuff you like growing. If you care about it chances are others will too. Keep it up

I know there’s a fine balance with landraces I try and be careful.
My mix is
Compos,sand,blomalaid soil mix…it stays wet for almost a week…so I never overwater might just start pouring gallons of water into the tent and bottom feed.
My garlic skunk is short and squat all these plants love the heat …I think all start adding more nutes thanks…I just worry bout the Mexican redhair skunk,and my gak skunk she’s not a heavy feeder…all hope for best dank mids …I like the entourage effect over high thc .
