Wow. Took a look at the website. Taking a big step. Congrats are in order. So I know you have been after :skunk: skunk for a long time. Of your offerings which would give best chance of finding something really ole school skunky?

Hey dude. Wcsd has been my top seller for over a decade. People still grow it from clones I sold them in 07.

It’s 100% 90s skunk weed. It just isn’t that rks we are all after. The green pheno (50% of the offspring) is super sharp, fuely and skunky. Reeker when growing. Problem is that it lacks that soft lemon and burnt rubber. But she breeds true in crosses

My best guess has always been in a colombian x old agghani. Without dna testing it’s hard to tell.

Hey dude. Thx!

West coast sour diesel, rock-star kush and conkushion are the skinkiest most sour in my line.

If they head-band is crossed with let’s say purple kush, og kush or bubba you get kind of close to rks. Just larger batches have to be grown out.

If I could get the best traits from all 4 mentioned above - fuel, sour, burnt rubber, coffee and catpiss I would have had rks. It’s just so hard to get all traits together

I did grow some conkushion and wcsd in the garden this year to catch some pollen but I know my stuff well and how they breed I really wanted to grow alot of landraces and hybrids I’ve made to really narrow down what I think will work

Some of you may remember me ordering some skunk scent for hunting from amazon to get a clue what that smells like. In my last grow I have found a plant that smells almost exactly like the skunk secret in the little brown bottle. What a coincidence. I have never ever had a plant smell like this. And now that I have a comparison it’s right there in front if me. The smell changes though in curing. The biting stench goes away and makes room for some finer cheesy aromas but still retaining some of the actual character. She and her sisters are also very potent. I won’t disclose the seedline I got it from right now but let me tell you this: it’s from the og kush / chemdog family. I may be interested in collaboration. :relaxed:

Yeah I see larger seeds but had no idea large seeds equal roadkill

So if the large seeds in west coast diesel mean it’s real skunk and that’s been your best seller for a decade, how come the search for roadkill isn’t over ?

Oh I agree. I was being sarcastic lol.

Large seeds are an an indicator. Not a law. Just like double serrations on leaves

They are similar. Not the same. Wcsd is far more fuely. I inbred it to bx2 f1 for a reason: something special and unique.

I recieved the wcsd clone circa 2007. I’m tryna recreate exactly what we had in 1992.

I’m not sure or can’t say how much breeding experience you have but generics in plants aren’t that simple (as I wished they were in this case)

@medmanbrand didn’t you find rks type terps in one of your recent Landrace Warden grows?

Yup.

I’m waiting for everything to dry right now

I’m very surprised to see the kandhar black #3 oxidizing into strong skunk

2 expression of the gilget selection: one is skunk, the other almost smells pure og kush.

There’s a 70s mexican x mazar that I feel like is very close. And the Peruvian hermies both unfortunatly. But there is one beyond rank peru I’m rerooting. 2 Peruvian finished way ahead of the rest. They were very cheesy which in the cure may evolve to skunk.

I ha e my hands full at the moment processing. Hence the reason I haven’t been posting much.

I have smoked some semi dry “Mexican” pheno of the peru which prob needed at leeeeeast 2 more weeks and it is powerful. I couldn’t finish a half cone (gram) before bed the other night.

Alot of notes and pics/ record keeping to come

Your documentation is as extensive as it is insanely valuable.
