The plants all look great…. But that view off your porch steals the show!

It’s real pretty here. The other side of the house you can catch a glimpse of the mountains.

I think they are growing. Getting started is always rocky. I feel like they either don’t have enough access to water in these big totes, or the roots grow out the bottom of the root riot. I’ve got the tiny tent now to start plants, so hopefully it goes more smoothly

Moving the tents around. Getting a table to put over the Cannatrol so I can stack the little tent.
Northern Lights and one of the ACCs in the big tent and two leggy Chernobyl in the little tent.

Hillbilly mountain update, (actually, our closest named peak is Turkey Cock, not hillbilly mountain) My neighbor came over on the golf cart yesterday to tell me about yermomn’em. He’s fully retired now from being a cop, and wants to grow some herb. His buddy gave him a half dozen plants and I don’t know if he’d already seen my plants, or just the veggies in the front, but he knows I grow stuff and am the dirtiest hippie this whole ridgetop has ever seen. He comes around the back being he’s not company and the back deck is where the ladies live. So he takes me over and we check out his plants. He’s so excited and nervous. I’m really looking forward to talking pot with him. I hope he enjoys the ride, it’s a lot of fun.

This is my first week of summer break! I reorganized the shed, fussed in the garden, cleaned so much dirty house. It’s been a good week. I found out today a serious problem I was having at school has resolved for next year. So, a real good week.

Here’s some weed.

Some pics of everyone!

Glad you’re having a great week! You had me in stitches over here, thinking of your “fully retired” neighbor and of all the terrible jokes I’m missing out on by not living near Turkey Cock mountain.

Back when I taught beginning readers, I’d find old matching and rhyming materials. They are often great, but I’d go through and remove a few cards - cock was usually in there, by a photo of a male chicken. But there were too many kids who only knew it as a forbidden word.

@syzygy come tell me about Quetzalcoatl Genetics, I saw you typing then the thread disappeared.

Ol boy says he has cuts on IG

I don’t know anything about them so I couldn’t say. I know I’m not interested in whatever it is they’re selling though… Labeling any of those cuttings as “breeder cuts” is a bit comical from my perspective.

I was typing in the other thread that I’m no authority on the commonly circulated ohio “heirloom” cuts. I’ve had a few really nice cuts that circulated around here around 02-03 though. Seems like a decent amount of people have suddenly appeared out of nowhere implying they are breeders or with “genetics” in their name ever since the state legalized. A lot of them seem to be preying on people’s nostalgia for these strains that were probably many consumers first exposure to home-grown flower as opposed to compressed commercial bud. My position is don’t waste your money.

I value your input. I’m not in Ohio now, but I’m one of those people. I really want to get a hold of dumpster for my husband, but I don’t want to get had.

Very cool, hope everything works out for you in your quest! Will be interesting to see how it turns out for the others on this forum who are running cuts they recieved as Dumpster. Wouldn’t be surprised if they would be open to trade with you, and you’d have the added bonus of seeing the end result. I’ve never had or grown it so I’m mostly interested to see if it lives up to the hype for them.

I was given a cutting that was supposedly Sensi Star in 02-03 and am still to this day just chasing the smell of that one. SS cuttings in the future from the same people grew differently and had a tropical odor so no clue what the story is there - phenotypic variation, mislabel, etc. I imagine a similar scenario is going to play out with the popular heirloom cuts. I’m sure plenty of dealers were calling their buds LemonG, Deathstar, Dumpster, Wheelchair, etc regardless of what the buds actually were.

I’m pretty sure all three of these autos are girls. I was hoping to cull down to one, so clearly :smirk:

Now I have to decide if I want to try and transplant two or what I’m doing.

The one in the center back in the photo is significantly less bushy. I would snip it and let the other two share the grow bag. Autos hate being transplanted.

Looks like at least a 10g bag? When I had two together in one of those and a single separate of the same kind, the pair each yielded nearly as much as the single plant, and that’s with being packed together indoors.

Everyone is growing like weeds! I might flip the big tent this weekend.

This Northern Lights is a little fussy. I don’t do fussy, so me and her better get our act together. She lost a branch that I wanted. It just withered off. And she’s a week or so younger than the ACC Durban with her, but not as vigorous. I’m not the most dialed in grower and she might need a more tender touch.

Also, put 6 Wreckage master bastard Kush (WMBK) in water yesterday. I missed out on the grow-along because my plants were all male :pensive: if you hear @FirstCavApache64 tell the story I’m sorely missing out.

@joao here’s my grow log and my beans!

I put them in an old yogurt glass with a squirt of H2O2 until the radical is as long as I feel like.

This is my veg/ seedling tent. I’m sorry for the bars, the light in here is not the fanciest.

The shelf on top I’ll add a heat mat to in the winter. When they pop I’ll post how I move them to their cubes.

I dont see anything wrong with your lights. If it does what you want it to do, that is all that matters. :rainbow:
