Harvest day, they will hang till tomorrow then they will get bucked and go into the Cannatrol

The outside plants are getting up potted today. The autos need to go outside too. This dirt in my house got to go.

I’m going to look at the calendar because it’s supposed to be hot as shit here this summer and I struggle with indoor growing in the heat and humidity.

Cannatrol is all loaded up.

I decided to ignore what the calendar said and put a Jilly bean x dosido x white widow fem and a northern lights #2 in. Since the NL for outdoor didn’t make it. I’ll clean and flip the tent this week and be sure to put the dehumidifier in too.

Tent is ready to flip!

One confirmed male ZE auto. They are in solos still :grimacing:

I’m having a hard time with soil. Right now just getting enough of it, of decent enough quality. This is year 2 in our house and the soil needs a lot of help. I am used to having a truck and access to mountains of aged horse manure, both of which I don’t currently have. It’s just a slow process getting my garden setup and as usual I’ve started too many seeds of both actual tomatoes and “tomatoes”

Outdoor ladies pics. I haven’t fertilized anything yet, I’m sure they will need something soon. I intended to up pot but that’s absolutely not going to happen because I’ll destroy these plants trying to get them out of these fabric pots.

I’ve cut fabric pots to get plants out before and then just stitched them up with fishing line. It’s a bit of work but when they get too root bound it’s one way of getting them into bigger pots.

Keep an eye out for The eastern spotted damn ass pot eater bug.

It looks like a punk. I’ll keep an eye out. Ive already seen aphids on some weak pickle seedlings. After the blasting heat this week, and today is rainy and clammy, all I’ve seen is a load of soil gnats amd flying guys. I’ll be on the lookout for eggs or larva too.

I’ll probably just keep them in this size pot. I think it’s 3 gallon. Next year I am going to make beds for them and put them in the ground

There were some plants in the bush last season and they were doing fine. Those wierd bugs I pictured were in them en force when I came back. They ate All the leaves and tops off. They also dive under the leaves when they see you coming. I have no idea what they are and haven’t seen them in the past. Now I find 3 on one plant in my garden and one other around the tomatoes.

It might be a soldier beetle and usually soldier beetles aren’t a problem, they “eat flowers” said mamaw, I’m going to Google, but I bet they eat nectar or pollen.

They might eat larva or eggs and are attracted to whatever is eating the plants.

We have grasshoppers here, so there will be some nibbling. Aphids, loopers and grasshoppers are going to be my biggest pests. And deer, always deer.

IME you set those pots on or in larger ones, the roots will go right through the fabric.

Uuuuggggghhhh !!! The deer! :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: Imagine finding what used to be an 8 foot plant that now is a 3 foot plant. :weary:

I was wondering, I picked one up and noticed the roots are trying to poke out already. If I can get some dirt I may just

One time I stacked mine on some pots of used soil just for height, and the roots happily invaded  but I’m sure it’s a bit trickier with your wicking bottoms. I’m really wanting to get something like SIPs going, but there’s only so much time in a day.

Checking in with the outdoor ladies. I think in the fall their tags fell out. Next time I’ll zip tie them to the handles.

Bugs are going to be a concern. I’ve got something out front eating tomato plants too. I’m worried about feeding, I mixed up some Jacks clone formula and watered them. I might look at some dry amendments.

Check in on this glorious memorial day weekend. I have a specific vet in my heart this weekend.

In no particular order because I can’t barely tell them apart, the Indiana Bubblegum is the shortest. You can see the ZE autos in the back being tortured. I can’t get my jive right with them so I just making single bowl packs. I’ll try again soon.

The inside ladies, Northern Lights #2, and ACC Durban. I’m interested in what my spouse thinks about the Durban.

In other farm news, the cabbage peas are coming out today and the tomatoes and melons are going in. Trussed up the canning tomatoes after the wind tried to knock them over. The three sisters’ garden is looking nice. It’s silver queen, Connecticut field pumpkin and I think KY wonder pole bean.

Glorious is the right word for sure! And much service worth remembering.

It’s pouring rain here :joy:
Your plants look great
I’ve never started an auto in little cup or pot of soil and had it make me something even as good as what you’re getting, so from my perspective you’re doing great with the ZE  and a bowl is a bowl - you’ll get to find out if you like the smoke enough to try again. :slightly_smiling_face:
