Volunteers are the such a fun aspect of gardening. Can’t wait til I get my first smelly volunteer. All I get are tomatoes at this point

Last year I pulled like 100 tomato volunteers out! It was crazy. Haven’t seen any this spring though

The hairs on this girl are still white, but she’s been flowering for almost 60 days and is at pinnacle stinkiness. Thinking she may be okay to pull

I like to let the trichomes amber just a bit better high for me . But that’s your lady it’s always tempting to pull early if the jars are getting low lol .

The jars are still overflowing. I’m just wondering if being a winter baby if maybe the hairs just aren’t darkening up from the cooler weather or I’m just jumping the gun. Haven’t pulled out the loupe to check trichs yet though

It may reveg and not finish perhaps. Pretty much what I am expecting. If the days are long enough.

The colas are fully formed just waiting on hairs to darken. That would be trippy if it revegged now.

Yeah if I started seeing some new growth I’d pull it myself! The neighbor had one do this to him and it added thickness but dismissed quality. With the jars overflowing can really do what you want! How this thing went from that little old hi there plant to that thou. I’d want to makesure it’s as smokeable and top notch as can be giving the circumstances! I had to go back and look at bugging of thread and that pic with it next to some snow! Unreal and nicely done! It may be small but that’s a pretty structure and some dense colas for it’s size!

How is it going a week later? Any signs of revegging? My two plants have seven weeks of flowering under their belt and still seem to be maturing. I’m hoping to get them to 9 weeks so they fill out more, but am taking it day by day

Nope, but I did pull it. It’s drying now. The hairs weren’t darkening, but it just smelled done. I left it like 8 or 9 weeks I guess. I’ll let you know in about a week what she tastes like. She is like the size of an auto, a small auto. Actually I’ve had much larger autos outside, but she was fun to watch grow through the winter with zero care. The other volunteer would have been much larger, but it was male.
