No argument. When I buy meph its to MAKE more seeds first, grow out second.

Here’s a visual on mephisto; both the bad and good represented in one pic:
This is Samsquanch, or rather, a somewhat runty samsquanch that was harvested for bud right next to a Mango Smile even more runty plant, and I don’t remember which one for sure but I think it was the Samsquanch that had 2 nanners right at the bottom of the stem. I noticed them a day or 2 before harvest time and they were already dried out and half gone, releasing only a very little bit of pollen into my grow room, but during removal of the buds I noticed these starting seeds in some bottom flowers, too small for photograph at the time, but now they’re getting to the point where I can show them.
Isn’t the first time MG genetics have thrown me bottom nanners that had nothing to do with stress, or at least not AFAICT.
Now normally I would have said fuck the runt and it’s seed, harvest that bitch, but I’m quite in love with the taste of Samsquanch so I decided to let the seeds ride it out and see how far she is willing to take them, and then what comes out. I’ll probably be saving that for a separate grow though as I’m not interested in having these genetics mix into my next run as next run will be done for seed testing and production.
If you can’t see the seeds, they’re at the bottom right of the bud the camera focused on. Actually the seeds are right in focal point at bottom right.

So I’m not sure what this post is, a PSA or rant? @Wizzlez I’ve seen Meph’s that can/do herm, they’re plants I suppose it happens. Personally, I’ve yet to experience it, and grow I’d say 90% Meph genetics. Interesting indeed. Thx for the heads up

I’m not sure either, I love it when their genetics rock but it’s like a luck of the draw kind of thing when you buy their beans IME.
I don’t intend to buy their genetics again for that reason, but I’m still left impressed with the stuff that they sent me when it did what it was supposed to.
The first batch of seeds I got from them was a lot more uniform and less problematic and was why I went back for seconds. Sad to see there’s issues with keeping up that quality.

Anyone have any luck with these yet? The high price tag really puts me off but would love to be able to make more of them. I was really stoked on the cannacheese and now curious about these.

I plan on popping a few beans here over the next week or so, grow one indoors and a couple outdoors. I’ll probably start a thread on the grow, haven’t grown any autos over the last 4 years or so but this mixed ratio strain made me jump back into it.

That being said, anyone have any tips or sources for good reversal tools? I would love to try my hand at making more of the Aunt Ginny’s Elixir for the community, but have not had great success with elitexelite spray in the past.

I’m going to be running a couple aunt ginny and aces zamaldelica auto for the specific purpose of making seeds my next grow(August or September). I’ll be handing a bunch of s1’s and crosses out afterwards so if you want some just let me know.

My experience is the complete opposite!
Colloidal silver and STS were messy and hit and miss (plus way more work) than the elitexelite for me!

I may have experienced a fluke! It was also my first time using the elitexelite
STS all the way yo!
Pop 1 seed, start soaking it in STS every 2-3 days as of week 3 which is the same week you start your seed making plants.

I’ve yet to purchase anything, my auto foray
started with some hand-me-downs from a friend of mine, rocbud mephisto and gnome. I’ll forever miss that one plant, and now I have fomo for life lol

from the fomo mephisto plantHas anyone had any luck S1’ing the CannaCheese? I tried last time and I ended up with empty pollen sacks, I have two started currently and am planning to reverse those onto two additional plants that I have just soaked. These are my very last cannacheese beans, so any tips are greatly appreciated.
