Mephisto genetics

Gonna try to get some 24 carat pollen on my sad organic autos so it’s not a total waste at least.

My 24k is outside.

None of the 3 outdoor autos are growing like the indoor ones.

Yeah I hear you their. I had them outside since day 1 in a hoop house. But those 3 days we had in ontario around 2degrees. They were about 4 days old. So I think that straight up fucked them.

What day did you transplant into those pots and what size pot.

That didn’t affect my marijuana plants seemingly at all.

My hot peppers however dropped their leaves right away…

My pepper plants look sad this year.

As soon as I had a decent size sprout with the cotyledons out, straight into 5 gallon trash bins.

The plants in the hoop house didnt show they were affected but they realy slowed down, the plants outdoors went yellow and bad damage. My pepper plants I kept inside longer. And just planted them yesterday they look phenomenal this year for me.

I don’t mess with peppers that hot any more. A few years ago I grew ghost peppers and burned my hands really bad making fermented salsa.

I get mine from harvest mutual. Prices are comparable to mephisto as well. Good luck

I love spicy food, and consume it at a level that most people are uncomfortable with… but the crazy hot peppers (Trinidad Scorpion, Bhut Jolokia, etc.) are not for me. This year I’m growing Caribbean Red, Jamaican Chocolate Habanero, and Scotch Bonnet. They are as hot as I need for the sauce I like to make.

If I don’t wear gloves when prepping the peppers for the sauce recipe, it’s a crazy experience to get all the symptoms of eating super spicy food without the burn on your tongue. I’ve definitely left my fingers tingling for a day or two after, so I’m a little more respectful of the power of the peppers now.

Scotch bonetts and habenaros are the hottest peppers I grow now. I always wear gloves when handling the really hot peppers and even wore gloves rhe day I burned my hands really bad. Some must have seeped in. Cold beer felt like hot coffee in my hands

Attitude Seed Bank --------------

When you order directly from Mephisto, your 3 packs have 5 seeds and the 10 packs have 12 seeds PLUS the freebies, which consist of strains not commercially available yet.

(this is from CDN store, I’m sure U.S. store is comparable)

I doubt any other seedbank is really comparable.

Eyewear. Must wear eyewear.

I was making a sauce with reapers, nagas and choc Trini scorpions in the blender. It was a little thick, so I poured a tablespoon or so of vinegar in as a preservative/thinner. It went down one side of the blender, across the bottom and up the other side, straight into my eye, loaded with chunks of pepper.

I was not aware that we had taste buds in our eyesocket before that.

@Yetigrows in the US we get about a minute on Mondays to buy from Mephisto (They go quick). They also have a list of trusted distributors on their page. I recommended Harvest mutual based on them being pretty close in price to the source compared to other vendors, unfortunately you don’t get as many freebies, but you get some.
