Good to see you again. It has been awhile. Most here would look to be a caregiver to increase their plant numbers  When my husband passed Mine were cut in half.

Is that still a thing with dispensaries nowadays?

Yep, If people get the card for medical, they pay less tax at the dispensaries and no tax on the home grown

I just figured patients didn’t need a caregiver anymore when they could just go to a dispensary

Does Michigan have a way to get in touch with patients who need a caregiver?

I have loved ones who are not interested in smoking Dispensory weed with PGRs

Did you know that Ludington was voted one of the top 5 Sunsets in the WORLD by Playboy Magazine!?
We didn’t really want the publicity!! Too many Tourists already!! LOL!

Kewl!! Warn ya-- it is REALLY Crowded up here!
But it’s got a few fun things to do…like the Mac Woods Dune Ride, and the Lighthouse walk!
And if you get a chance to go into Hart (right as you get off the highway!) There is a restaurant called the Big Hart Brewery - we know the folks to own/run it… it’s usually really good- but we don’t usually go when they are real busy with tourists! Warn ya-- the listing for ‘Lewis Adventure zoo’’ is NOT a ‘zoo’ it is a BIG Farm market with petting zoo, games , and they DID just add a water feature… if you have younger folks with ya, it’s a great way to tire them out!! But it is a good 25 minute drive…just FYI!
Enjoy your vacation!

We are usually riding the Dunes. No Littles with us. Just big trucks and fun 4 wheeling!

:raising_hand_man: I’m one of those tourists that Ludington gets. I like to think I’m a different sort though…I’ve had family in the area pretty much my whole life minus a few gap years due to death and snowbird behavior. I’ve also spent a little time working there. But at the end of the day, I guess I’m still a tourist.

Hey-- we have a couple ‘neighbors’’ that we only see in the Summer-- it’s why a lot of the smaller places up here get rented out during the winter to hunters…
Hmm… you may be one of them! LOL!

Hope you have a blast!!
Jut be careful-- already had 2 deaths on the dunes and multiple roll-overs/accidents-- almost ALWAYS younger folks + alcohol causing them… IMO-- if you haven’t been driving at least 5 years- and you HAVE been drinking- you can’t go on the dunes around other people…
A little weed makes it better, but alcohol impairs judgment. JMHO
