How much are they asking?

Outrageous really. But I’m sure they will get it.
Large pole barn 30 acres for $320,000.

Damn…out of the price range. Still beats the 6 acres that is not perkable with no infrastructure for sale at 500,000 behind my rental. When are we going to watch another housing crash?

If I was a hunter, I could be one of the renters. But I don’t hunt. Something about sitting in a blind/tree stand when I should be warm at home makes it less than appealing.

Also my wedding anniversary is opening day of bow season…and my wife’s bday is opening day of rifle season. I think my being a hunter would have meant some part of my life may have turned out differently.

I have never been to one yet since it is a drive for me but it is a series of events that happen a few times a year around Michigan. Where private vendors have booths where they showcase flower, rosin, and edibles. Their is a dab bar and live music. It is primarily a Hash/Rosin trade show but I hear elite flowers can be found there which is what I need rn. On Instagram @thehreamswapmeet who personal account is @cornfeddreadcreations

Any of Y’all heading to ANY of the Dunes this Summer- be aware! The State Police/Dune Patrols are really getting strict about alcohol/weed…because we’ve already had 2 Dune-buggy fatalities this season- only 2 weeks in!! :disappointed_relieved:
One was alcohol related, the other is still under investigation…and that is just here at Silver Lake Dunes!

Michigan’s registered medical marijuana patients and caregivers continue their free fall through May 31, 2024. We now only have 101,160 patients and 7,662 caregivers left, or 25% the amount we had the day before we went rec in 2018.

At the end of 2022 we witnessed Governor Whitmire @gewhitmer unceremoniously replace the longtime leadership of Andrew Brisbo with an unknown Brian Hanna as acting executive director of the Cannabis Regulatory Agency without rhyme nor reason. Brisbo was the President of the National Cannabis Regulatory Association(CANN-RA) when demoted to Director Of Construction Codes under LARA. What’s going on here?

Why have the big money players in this government regulatory scheme now abandon medical cannabis in favor of strickly adult use, essentially funneling medical patients into their sales and sin taxed product? Note that in 2023 Michigan’s cannabis revenue skyrocketed 42% to 270 million dollars. Something is really wrong here @michigancra

Today what is the end game for our decades long medical advocacy, voter initiative (MMMA 2008) and community given this regulatory capture?

It’s pretty obvious why the big money players are more interested in rec than med. I won’t go into it. But I think it also reveals what I suspected all along – most med users were not really med users. This included myself.

The fact is that if you’re over 50, you can reasonably be assumed to have some ailment or another that could get you a med card in Michigan. Once rec was legal, it was too much of a hassle to keep renewing the med card, for many.

I’m going to renew, just for the ability to legally grow more plants (my wife has a card, too). The dispensaries are on a race toward the bottom in trying to produce the cheapest crap people would continue to buy., so there’s no alternative to growing for a pot snob.

The lack of patients definitely has to do with what @LuckyHaskins said. As well as I would think a lot of med card holders did it for growing protection. I haven’t renewed my med card since 2021 and I don’t plan to ever renew it. Home growing under the rec laws is just as good of a deal as growing with a med card before rec. 12 plants is a great amount. Not to mention you can have up to 999 plants without as much as a fine if you’re caught. Feels like these days it’s a better option to just act as if things are still illegal, keep your head down and do what you want. My outdoor plants are within eyesight of at least 5 surrounding houses, with children. Never have heard a word about it from them. I’ve felt the shift of public opinion. Not to say there aren’t plenty of individuals remaining that will bitch themselves to death over having to look at cannabis plants in their neighbors yard. But it’s getting better year after year.
