Minnesota Grow show. Dynasty Genetics

I know I talked alot of shit about the ac infinity self watering bases this grow but they are producing. They are defintly going to out produce the 2 octopot plants but they also have 200 more watts of light. They are a bit more of a pain to use since you have to manage the wicks and remove them to clean them from time to time which in this case I could but if you had these plants in a scrog or trellis net I don’t know how you would be able to do that. Maybe if you arebt planing on using nets or doing much plant training where your plant needs to be supported I could see using them.

Removed the lights from the tents and giving the plants a day of darkness. No idea if it actually serves a purpose just something I read when I forst started and have done it ever since. Chopping tomorrow morning.

Here’s some pics of the 3 pineapple fields that are awaiting three move in date for the 4x4. Plants have been cut back multiple times and today Did some supercropping. The PF on the left is going to be a monster. This is a strain I have been waiting for along time.

Ended up chopping them last night , got all 6 plants in the 4x4 and set ac controller for a max of 60% humidity and 70 degrees which it will run my exhuast at 50% power till below threshold and then it drips down to level 1 power on the controller. Currently sitting at 65 degrees and 58%. Have a humidifier in the lung room keeping it at 55% humidity so that the tent is drawing in slightly lower than humid threshold air.
I may have underestimated the size of the 2 lemon lollipops in the 2x4, these plants are massive, you can see in the pic the very far back middle plant is one of them compared to the plants that were in the 4x4 which are in the foreground. The buds might not be as big but they’re are alot more of them. It’s going to take me a month and a half to trim all this…

Lemon lollipops

Back from my trip and my 2 veg plants are still alive and the hanging plants didn’t over dry, dry room was down to 53% humidity as the humidifier ran out of water but added water right away and got tue room back up to 58-60%.

The 2 pineapple fields in veg are going to be huge, never had a plant grow this fast in veg, they have already been trimmed back severely and have came back with a vengeance. I may have to cut them back again while I wait for my 4x4 to open up.

The drying shrinkage is worse than George Constanza in a pool.

Half way done with trimming…
Did 1 of each strain.
Lemon lollipops- alot of small dense buds, easy to trim. Insane tricome production. 7oz on 1st plant. Very happy with this plant.

Grapefruit kali- bigger buds than the lollipops, more leaf( I dod not do the late stage defoliation like i did with the lollipops so alot of fan leaves) 4oz plant 1. Even though It threw bananas I would grow this plant again, would like to see how this would do with a proper scrog or trellis to keep the branches from falling over and do the mid flower defoliation. Favorite smelling plant of the 3.

Kali snapple- mostly loose Larfy junk i didnt even bother trimming and threw right in the trim to make hash. outside of the very top buds none of the other buds are worth a shit. I might just hash the entire second plant because I don’t want to waste my time with it. Never growing again. 3oz of subpar buds.

That’s a bummer to hear about the Kali Snapple Bx2. Just bought a second pack of that.

I haven’t smoked it so it may be incredible and worth the hassle , I could have screwed things up too with my grow(first time using the AC infinity self watering planters , may not have gotten the watering and ferts right) so I wouldn’t let my experience cloud your judgement. In a octopot with a proper scrog screen or trellis it may have been a different outcome i just have too many strains I want to grow to revisit this strain.

Finished the grapefuit kalis. 10oz between the 2 plants. Not bad.
First time using grovebags for curing. It’s my understanding that you just seal the bag up and that’s it, no burping or anything and that the bag provides the moisture exchange. Anyone use them?

Looks tasty! There is at least one large thread on OG dedicated to Grove bags if you search some. Sorry I don’t have the link. Many positive reviews and I started using them about 5 months ago too and think they’re great so far. :green_heart:

Lemon lollipops is the frostiest plant I have every grown, had to clean scissors every 10-15 mins.

Onto the pineapple fields.

Got the 4x4 and 6 gal octopot bases cleaned time to bring in the new tenants.

I may have begged too long… that’s a 3x3x6 ac infinity tent for reference.

Well I got 1 plant in 4x4.

The 4x4 is filling in nicely. Doing something different nute wise this round. Normally I switch to flower nutes right away but I’m going to keep the veg nutes for the first 2 weeks during stretch before switching to flower nutes. Filled the octopot rez today so that should take us close to the 2 week mark of flower.
Trying to decide what my next grow is going to be. Just picked up Relic Cough bx3. Was going to be Relics SSH. Defintly going to be scaling down my plants only want to flower 1 or 2 plants per cycle, figure veg 5-6 plants and pick the best 1 or 2 to flower. Considering how well this plant is filling up the 4x4 probably just 1 in the 3x3, giving the plant a good 2 month veg. MIxing nutes for 6 flowering plants and then trimming all of them was alot of work for a hobby.

Ooh that thing is liable to explode in flower

Think I’m going to to go with the Relic CoughBX3 this next go. Going through my seed bank I also found a pack of freebies I got that sounds interesting. Dynasty Genetics Shishkablues. Anyone grown it out before?

Got 5 cough bx3 germinating.
Day 14 of flower for the pineapple fields. Switched to flower nutes today. Pretty rapid growth going on, the stalk on this guys is massive. Forst time usong the elastic netting, not liking it it, too much give and the squares are really big hopefully it works out well. Will probably go back to manually stringing my scrog net next time. Going to defoliate tonight or tommorow depending on time.
