MOTR grows with OniTenshu

Bow that they’ve all had some time to drink up they’ve perked up fully. Amanda looks good and her leaves are growing at a noticable pace. While not perfectly obvious in the pictures if you look at today’s pics you can see a mild growth of the leaves on top after watering initially and a little more now that they’re at 45° again. I plucked off the yellow leaves on bottom. They just popped right off with no fight.

Bugs looks just about ready to drop pollen maybe? That droop is that or they are dying maybe IDK

yet a paragraph before

@MomOnTheRun I and im sure a lot of others here commend and applaud your effort, time, and patience, awesome on you just saying

But… i leave this

Its hard to step away from something that you have put so much effort, help, and care into, but sometimes it’s just the right thing to do…

Well I was going to stay, but now I’m going dark. Cya thanks for the hostility

If you take that as hostility @OniTenshu that’s on you, Own it… and i mean that in multiple ways, you may understand that eventually, but what you do in your grow and in your life whether “learnings” or successes it has ultimately been Your choice to make, so what are you gonna do it about it ?

I know I am new here, but I have to agree 100%…

True though I knew what I was getting into and really weighed out the particulars (what, how, when) from what I was seeing as well as, the best course of action to really teach so the info is readily absorbed especially when dealing with a brain that is “rapid cycling” …nothing wrong with it just needs a different approach - whats learned becomes a routine so the grow becomes a sense of relaxation instead of high stress…ideally.

I “should” give up …probably need to in many eyes though many have - too many times. Sooooo many bad habits have been formed in the process that have to be retaught - it takes time, patience alotta love with hands on experience…its a little trickier with the distance - Internet for the win! :stuck_out_tongue:

What hostility? I see @Mr.Sparkle giving me advice openly…he is right - empty your cup really hits the nail on the head. Gotta expect people to voice their opinion seeing the exchange and following because they want to learn for them selves and/or see where this goes - I know I do. I am giving you solid advice otherwise people would be chiming in correcting me. Anyhow, I met my personal goal of giving a trouble free grow with the Lucky 7’s though there is more teaching/learning to be done here like communication, budgeting etc

@MomOnTheRun Regardless of the back and forth often observed in this thread, Your system/method/patience observed in this thread can teach A LOT of people struggling to get the basics. There is tons of helpful information in this thread. I commend and applaud you for your efforts. Forums in general need more people with your patience and communication skills.

I see nobody trying to attack you or be hostile.

I think that more people would have shared their opinions but they have not in an attempt to not trigger Oni.

Oni, you know I’ve been following this thread since before it began.

In all honesty mate, the only “hostility” (and it isn’t hostility, more like hoping you’d use your funds to improve your situation rather than your plants; and disappointment/worry/concern that you didn’t/haven’t/wouldn’t) that’s been shown is in regards to spending coin when you didn’t really have to. Your grow is going awesome with the guidance from Motr. And I can tell that you will learn heaps more just by exercising a little patience.
Admittedly, I’m being a bit selfish here, because I’ve been learning a shit load from this thread.
I hope you stick around, if for nothing more than so I can continue learning.
But, like you said, it’s your grow and your life, you can do what you like with it. Free will is a wonderful thing.

You don’t have 16 sqft of plants though?

My diy cob light I have on my plant is only putting out 30w and it’s doing great.

This right here. Thank you @MomOnTheRun! I’m looking forward to your advice, as well as that of all the other experienced growers who are here. There’s a level of respect and community here that just can’t be found elsewhere. Sure people disagree and argue occasionally, but for the most part once the dispute is over it’s back to business as usual and helping each other out. I tried to look at ICMag for some of the info that hasn’t had a chance to build up here yet, and that place is full of immature asshats with the majority either giving bad/trolling advice or using their acquired knowledge to lord over new growers.

@OniTenshu, take a step back. Take a break from OG. Come back with a fresh perspective. People are trying to help you here.

I hope so

Some walk on eggshells while others refuse to…I like to think I am somewhere in the middle as some moments require being called out with others that just need a nod though really can swing one way or the other when suddenly shit changes on me and that I will take personal responsibility on as I am still learning how to be tactful with communication

Right. There is more to growing than equipment and gadgets like learning control, patience and communication within personal boundary(s)

Suuurrreeee alright just make sure you throw in a fish carcass, periodically pee on the plants and make a chicken sacrifice for the Canna Gods …make sure the chicken bones are burned then top dressed within the top 6-8" and dance in the rain :stuck_out_tongue:

I, like many, sprinkle it all around…this is/was an opportunity to condense it - at least the way I grow

Imho, that is what community is all about…those that feel exiled often have not fulfilled their part in communication at least here on OG. Like attracts like and that’s why we are all here

Absolutely! We are all helping each other in the ways we can with the info we have.
Regardless of what happens here, I will do this again to whomever that is willing to take this 1 step at a time though it won’t be until the August harvest that I can do this or resume leaving June and July to prep…Grow 101 is planning as life loves to get in the way

I believe that everything that can be said, has been… @OniTenshu the ball is in your court. If you want to continue on we can work on more firm expectations and boundaries for both of us - if not, I understand

Oh Hell NO! I’m over it. What is this? Like the 4th or 5th time he stormed off like a child? Idgaf what his excuse is, doesn’t trump the fact that he is a grown man. Don’t let the door hit ya… Bye Felicia!

Agreed. You shouldn’t bite the hand that feeds you. Manic depression or not sometimes it’s better to just leave them to their own self destruction as in the end youll only get dragged down with them. @MomOnTheRun you have done nothing but help @OniTenshu. Spitting his dummy out once or twice I could live with and probably let it go over my head but it’s a repetitive thing that’s happening. I suggest you cut your losses and just leave him to his own self destruction as your help and care obviously isn’t appreciated. :v:

Amen to that, here in Spain we have a saying: “Dios da pan al que no tiene dientes” (“God gives bread to whom it has no teeth”). When you know you are doing the right thing there’s nothing others can do to stop it. I appreciate all the support and “like” :revolving_hearts: you give to the community and I am grateful for that, cheers … :sunglasses:

Yeah, just caught up in the other thread and with a comment such as this goes to show there is no restraint continuing the self sabotage inviting more issues than I want to deal with when choices come to a head this fall

True…stuck in a cycle - I hate giving up though ya’ll are right, can’t force a square peg into a round hole nomatter what tools are thrown at it

Hopefully, when Oni is ready to grow up and make better choices he’ll be more receptive to the info and advice given to continue successful trouble free grows…that time is just not now and thats ok

Edited to add: I am locking this thread now as I am pretty positive we are done
