Mumen Ryder's Mini Tents

Pretty raggedy looking clones…

Hopefully they look better in a bout a week. Most had quite a bit of roots out of the aero cloner. Definitely a nicer way to clone. Mom’s didn’t have much to choose from at the time, and some moms were not super healthy as they were clones themselves and didn’t have the greatest root systems.

Plants are all labeled, and I’m waiting for reversal spray in the mail.

Depending on which clones are healthiest, a Durban or a Power Plant will be the pollen donor for the rest of the plants via open pollination.

Have a great day!

Looks good they’ll bounce back and be healthy in no time.

Eh, all clones tend to look raggity for a week or two.

Clones all doing well now. Will start flowering the reversal plants in a separate tent at some point this weekend, and flip the rest of these in 1-2 weeks. Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!

Both flood and drain setups are back in action, each holding 6 plants. 12/12 light cycle in both tents.

The 2 plants that were sprayed with eliteXelite gold look like shit, and are growing slowly:

Man… they better throw pollen lol…

The moms drive me absolutely nuts because I have to remember to hand water them. They are like 4.5 feet tall after being topped like 3 times each:

So I chopped them all down after taking 4 more clones of each so I don’t have to deal with them for a couple weeks…

One way or another I AM going to get one of these plants reversed and pollinating the others… Hopefully it gets done this round, but if not I am keeping the moms to try again. This project is 7 months in from sprouting the original seeds, and we might actually go a full year lol…

Just thinking about you. Very nice.

Looks like a single spray session with eliteXelite gold did the trick:

Pollen sacks appearing all over the plant now. Just hoping they actually have pollen in them

Yeah I wonder what’s up with that… eXe is the only product I know of that only takes one application. I figure it’s just insanely concentrated STS, or maybe there is actually something else in it.

I ended up choosing it because I really don’t want to have to run another crop to harvest seeds. I have seen a few people use it, and it seems to work as advertised.

Reversed plants are covered in sacs, but I am a little worried there is no pollen.

I guess we are only 3 weeks (21 days) into flower for these guys so maybe that is not an issue.

I have removed some sacs though, and there is 0 pollen in any of them.

Patience is a virtue my friend.:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I sure hope that they open up for you!

Lol for sure man… This is actually my first time reversing a plant so I am not sure if the sacs form first and then the pollen comes later.

I thought the pollen would form along with the sac, but that might not be the case.

@ReikoX I have seen you reverse some plants (I think…?), is it normal for sacs to be empty when they first form?

I’m probably going to be the same frantic, impatient, and worrisome person when I soon start my first reversal, lol.
Congratulations on the success this far. That’s awsome! :slightly_smiling_face:

I’ve had a failure or two. In those cases, the flowers never opened. I tried letting them dry and grinding them up. Only ended up with three or four seeds.

Do you think there should be pollen in those sacs at this stage, or I might have to wait another couple weeks?

I think just you just have to wait and see if they open up. I don’t believe there is pollen in them at this stage.

I am away from the tent at the moment but the plants that were reversed had intense purple flowers and I think there is some purple coloring to the pollen sacks

This was going to be my suggestion.

Wow those streaks are really purple
I just took a closer look at the reversed plants and it’s hard to say but I do think they have some of that coloring starting.

Guess we will find out in a week or three :joy:

I’m really hoping for pollen because the mother clones are already growing roots in the aero cloner and I don’t want to have to take care of them… I was hoping to avoid even potting them, but if I need 2-3 more weeks then I’ll have to pot them in case of the no pollen scenario.

This information is very helpful @LedZeppelin.

It does seem like there is something to this, thanks for sharing!

Getting some pollen now, and there are definitely purple streaks:
