Mushrooms - DIY, spores, etc 🍄 (Part 1)

The red taste better, usually when they are smaller. And with the yellow you have to watch out for fading white ones as they are deadly… But red and yellow have a really good nutty taste. Its nice to fry them and serve in butter, of course after boiling for 15 to 20 minutes, the more amanitas the more water and time to leech the toxins out. Then its frying time, this time I decided to dry them. They are almost dry now. And I only eat caps. No stems

I would rinse with alcohol, dry, put them in a closed jar with water in the jar and pc.

I did rinse them with water and then fill up with water and PC. I then squirted it out in my SAB then sucked up the LC.

I’m not seeing any growth with either that I tried so I’m gonna make some more. I can see mycelium growing in the jar but nothing on the grains.

Not really sure there is a ‘best’. Would suggest staying away from PE, but most cubes would work fine

Whoa! @ClosetCartelGenetics! I tried some DMT for the first time last week. It was made into a vape cartridge. 3 hits, don’t hold it in, boom! 5 minutes of tight assed tripping balls! Lots of visuals and very cleansing. I liked it. One Love
Blessings…

Way too much of a thread for me to read through entirely haha… at least for now but very interested. I have all the supplies since I looked into it this spring to try to partake in the beautiful world of fungi.

Feeling I should get on it so I can have some medicine to help with the covid blues, anxiety and depression.

Seems the only thing I am lacking is a pressure cooker that I can use to sterilize the jars and grain to spawn into… Has anyone had success trying an instant pot or is it really not worth the time and better to borrow / invest in a mechanical pressure cooker?

Hope everyone doing well today

Peace @twistedinfinity I have used this guys videos in order to learn about what to do. I too have an instapot and it wont fit quart size bottles. I did get a large steamer pot with lid, pretty cheaply, and have used that to boil. I didnt inoculate anything when I did it but I did see and watch his other vids on PC v Boil tek. Below I added link to boil tek video. Subscribe and look up his other vids. Dude is a burn out young guy but seems to know what he’s doing ( I had to get past the colored nails thing tho :joy: still not used to it, but that’s today’s youth)

Stay safe be well and grow hard :fist:t6: good luck with it
Peace

Thanks for the videos - will give them a looksseeee. Most the info I had come across this spring was on shroomery. I live in an area where everyone already canned even before coronavirus so I shouldn’t have that big of a prob finding a pressure cooker to use for a couple days I don’t think.

I sterilized my jars in a pasta cooker that has a strainer and heavy glass lid. I went 2 hours as recommended and now I have mycelium developing.

Lol not so sure he is a ‘youth’ to be honest. He obviously plays in a different reality. As far as his reasoning for the nail polish… he likes pretty things. Weird? Sure… anything ‘wrong’ with it? I’d say no
