My 1st Grow (Bruce Banner+Gelato)

I already stopped feeding like a week ago thooo… lol
I’ve flushed it about 3 times now from last Wednesday to today, and the runoff is still coming out above 7.0!

That means there’s plenty of nutes still residing in the soil, right?..:man_shrugging:t5:

Or your water pH is crazy or your meter is unreliable. Or your media is buffered so low it expects 7+ pH / water. Or…

Something I’m trying right now us to try and treat cannabis the same way I would a houseplant. Little more calmag, little more watering, that’s it. You could call it lazy.

Not sure I’m succeeding but that’s what I’m trying.

Would you flush your tomatoes? Seems the antithesis of my goal.

All the best

Soo…4 of my 7 lovely ladies tuned almost yellow overnight! I read that this could be a normal thing to happen at this point, but just a little concerned  what do you guys think?..is this happening just because I’m flushing??

That’s ‘the fade’, it’s definitely from flushing the plant is a bit nutrient deficient and is eating itself :grimacing:. Flushing can help bring out purples and other cool colors, you’ll see alot of people flush for exactly that reason. Keep in mind many plants will fade a bit at maturity even if they’re not flushed.

Don’t sweat it, you’re so close to harvest that it won’t be an issue. Enjoy the beautiful autumn colors!

Just my 2 cents here.

Unsure why people flush their plants. The only “flushing” I’ve EVER done, is oh, holy crap I’ve overwatered.

I literally nutrient feed with every other water until the day I rip those ladies out of the ground.

I have NEVER had any chemical tastes etc in my smoke, but, maybe it’s just me (but doubt it).

Those plants look good, I wouldn’t worry too much, but honestly, flushing does nothing but strip the nutrients out of the soil. Unsure why you’d want to do that.

Keep up the good work, looks tasty!!! :v: :peace_symbol:

Yes, they look hungry now which I suppose is your goal

Will they be alright for the next 7 days tho?.. I’m planning on watering 2 more times over the next 4 days, then I’m not gonna water from Tuesday-Thursday. Which I’ll harvest on that Thursday. Also, has anyone heard of keeping the plants in complete darkness for like 24-48 hours right before harvesting??

Oh yea, here are some more micro pics i took today… i think they seem milky-er then last time🤷🏾‍♂️…

If some of the sugar leaves(mainly at the tops of the plants) have already been yellow for a few days, should I harvest sooner? Or just go as planned, and have various potencies with each other bud?.. I’m probably just getting anxious, huh?..:expressionless: haha

Wait the 4 days ,it will be worth it.one of the hardest things for a new grower is the wait till harvest time.

LOL Oh… I remember! - you have two little voices…
The first one is repeatedly saying “Are we there yet?”
& The other “Your stash is low”, “Your stash is low” :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

The hardest thing in the world is to tune them out!

Cheers
