Papa always great to see you!!
Dendro, thank you for stopping by.
My way, is just that, my way.
Being a moldie oldie, I’ve jumped on and off so many bandwagons, all the various schemes in growing, over the past 20+ years, since we started to battle my wife’s cancer return, and remission. So, I keep us stocked up with edibles, tinctures, that we make, and hope for the best.
Lets face it, we are all doing time, we all get a life sentence, and no one gets out alive!
I once let life run me, now I run my life, right up to the day I do not, like eating a perfectly ripe fruit, bite, chew savor, repeat, compost that core.
Best to you all!!

OMFG! We are tending another dog this week. A Rottweiler, maybe 4-5 months old, super sweet, until he starts getting assey.
He goes from super chill to dog villainy in a heart beat! It is real hard to try and correct him, when his face is covered in tiny pieces of a tissue he grabbed from the box, by the coffee table. AS soon as he looks up, his face just beams, GOTTCHA!!
Then he’ll leap around all excited, like a bull in a china shop.
His first night, he decided he was not coming back in the house, and just ran back in forth in front of me, bounding, barking, just being a young dog.
I got my lead, and over the next 30-45 minutes, stalked him down, until he cornered himself.
I never said a word, just kept walking towards him. I use a slide lead, so it was nice and loose, he put his head into the loop. I cinched it up, and he exploded, throwing his self down, rolling wildly about, I just stood there holding the lead.
Then that quick, it was over, I started walking, and he laid down, like “slide me bitch”.
Then I remember his magic word. TREAT.
That freakin dog went into the best behavior mode! Staring at me, as I said the magic word, totally entranced, by the thought of it. Sat his down, walked like a well trained dog should, all around the back yard.
Got another good day from him, until we went to my hobby area. Large chunk perlite is crack to him now. I never even considered he would root around in a pot I just yanked from duty. Then he grabbed and RAN like his ass was on fire, away from me, as he knew I’d take it. But I did not see he grabbed it.
So a bit later on I see this pile of WTF ever, but the stainless tea strainer was chewed real good. I can still use it. Spent Mosquito Bits, must taste good!
I gave him some nice big stalks to chew, and since they shred, he’s crazy for them also.
He is so much fun, but so much work also!!

OMG, this whacky dog has fallen entranced to watching my hummingbird feeders, I got one hanging on the front porch, and another at my pole building lean to.
He saw a hawk, fly very low over the back yard, that had zeroed in on some fast food in the big cut field behind us. The privacy fence, keeps him from seeing the hawk, hit the ground.
But as he was looking that way, a pair of hummers, started to fight, at the feeder, and he looked up, his head went sideways, ears up, his WTF look is that, look going on.
He watched them, waited, as the flit away, and just as he about to lose interest, they of course come back for refills.
He was spell bound for a very long time. Later on, ( he was quiet, so big mess somewhere) but I had to giggle, as he was laying by the patio door, watching the hummers.
He’s a trip, each hour is, 20 minutes of being a lover boy, cuddling up to us, hand hounding, licking my leg???(what is that about) .
Then 20 minutes of rope tug, chew toy activity.
Then 20 minutes of roaming looking for shit to chew, nibble, pull apart, or get at, knowing damn well he is not supposed to be getting at.
But he is a treasure. Loves his crate, sleeps all night long in it, with door open. In the AM, he will lay there, sleeping in, till 9:00, then when he gets up, every dog I watch is dancing about to go pee, not this one. He may be up an hour, until he wants out to relieve himself. Weird!!
He is teaching me, to find a level of calm, I did not know I had. Being a giant pup, he will tax your patience.
I started a new puzzle the other day. He never even looked at the puzzle table. I was piling up colors, in piles, and he came over, just looked at the stuff on the table.
I got up to go get a drink of water, as I come back in, he came back, looked at the table, and fast a damn snake, he grabbed a piece, took off running, chewed it up and swallowed it, just grinning like a loon at me. Just being a rebel without a clue.
Oh well.

Well, well, a deep subject for my wee mind!
I’ve really neglected my veg plants BADLY!! All of this cycle of plants are now under the fierce growlightaustralia LED.
2 areas are set up.
A tray of Killer Grapes S1’s, a must have for us, as I let us run of it, thinking, I had one parcel stashed in the freezer…I did not. And, the ones I gave out, all lost theirs as well, so reboot time.

Area 1, the plants are in the hydro prepared 3 g pots, in organic mix, topped with large chunk perlite, F&D, tomato food solution, with a tiny bit of Morbloo,4 total, screened. 3 KG’s and 1 SAWA` Natty

Area 2, all I did was remove them, 1 gallon, root ball, and plunked it down on to some coco husks, soaked in ReCharge, then covered, in large chunk perlite.
Mixed up a batches of tomato food, with a tiny portion of Morbloom.
F&D, tray of Hyp3rid’s SAWA IBL, and SAWA Natty, and a Killer Grape also.

Well damn, I forgot to snap a few of the final covering of the large chunk perlite.
And, I had to remove the hemp sock, from the drain tube, as it slowed draining badly.

I’m only showing the pics, as I chronical the good and the bad…and these are badly cared for plants, so shame on me.
Have the best day you can all!!

I needed saucers for like 36 plants, in 1 g square pots. As I started to scrounge my pile of faded dreams, spare parts, and all around bone yard, of usable brick a brack.
Damn, I find about half of the saucers I needed, so, off in a day dream, I go, looking at the pile, like some lost old, muppet in a trance, trying to see how I solve this problem, without running to the shop, or the dollar store.
Damn it, then like your first pull of moonshine, that lightening strikes, my bean, and DAMN an idea is germinating!!
All those pots are setting on one of those folding tables, you should walk by, and get the up grade, the better one, but I did not. So it sucks to open and close, but they all fit on it.
So I see some lumber from another failed dream, I cleaned and saved.
OH Damn! Plenty of wood, sweet.
H’mm a few wraps of Panda, left on the 50’ roll I bought, over buying tents…SCORE all I need.
Cool, found some wood screws, staples, my plastic miter box and hard backed saw, from a cheapo tool sale 30 years ago with my tools!!
So, I make a wooden frame around the crappy table, screw it to the plastic sides, making a 1.5" lip all around the table.
Cut some Panda, the a bit longer than the table and wider by a few inches also. Fold, then staple all around it.
Add, plants water/feed them as sloppy as I want to, as the table is now a saucer!!

Go burn one now!! Go on!!

Tray area, reloaded, Hyp3rids, SAWA and SAWA Natty, and a Killer Grape S1, orginaly from Santero, S1’ed due to my shady ways.
It’s filling in, maybe a hard clone cut/topping this weekend.

I swapped out the tubs for a pair of trays, removed the old California Lighthouse LED, put up a GLA LED, turned the whole set up.
Due to glancing neglect, the veggers needed some reviving, so everything is still in veg mode, and are bulking up through their change, going from organics to a hydro trays.
The saucer table, is working a treat!! They all get hard topped also, lots of cuts2clone’s coming.

Again, more SAWA/Santero offerings.

Keep doing what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.
Have a blast today!!

Here we are, it’s FALL TIME!! I love this time of year myself. Hell I love all 4 seasons!!
Being to cold, does get old, as being to hot does also.
Spring and Fall fav’s!!
First old item for review: I LOVE MY PANDA ROOMS!!! Not dissing tent growing in any manner at all. But damn, a $50.00 roll of Panda, and I got 3 perfect areas now! And so flexible!!
I’ve got so much running now, but I’ll focus on the SAWA IBL, and SAWA Natty, Killer Grapes that are in the 2 (dedicated) flower areas right now.
I also have a few Capulator plants, that I just started to flower out, (last tent) that I’ve held like you would a MOM plant.
That plan did not work out, so I’m flowering those 3 also, 2 Granny Mac’s, and Mac Stomper. I put the tubs to work in there. A plant in each tub.

The single tray area, has 3 Killer Grapes (seedheaven, santero) and a SAWA` (Hyp3rids) it’s been in flower just a bit so far, and has filled the screen very nice.

Where the tubs was at last cycle, are 2 trays, 2 reservoirs, a 6’ to 7’ x 4’ wide screen laid over them, on the speed rail fittings, fastened to 2x4’s.
it was UGLY doing this alone.
The screen flopped down on them as I tried to lay it end to end, so I got more cuttings rooting now LOL!
I should have placed it on the fittings a few weeks ago now.
Just being LAZY DAISEY!
The veg table saucer thingy, is working very well. It is loaded for bear!! They grow up to the lights, I cut them in half. It’s the 3rd time so far. It is full in there!

The ugly screen for now anyway.

Some in tray net pot cuts2clones.

So for the next 2 weeks I’ll keep clipping branches to the underneath and up through the screen, to make a carpet of bud sites.
Stay healthy, everyone!!

Hey ya Papa, it is almost a year since my rebuild now. I really thought I would hate plastic by now. I did trim some off each bottom, as I thought a few extra inches would help with light leaks, but the roll carts would catch it.
So I inserted some scrap PVC pipe, stapled a pocket around the pipe, just so it skims the floor. Then each side wall, got a pocket and tube inserted.
The best, NO ZIPPERS!! NO LIGHT LEAKS!! Totes roll in, totes roll out.
Flexible walls ROCK!! All for a $1.00 a foot, hell and there is still a few wraps on the roll!
Take care man!!

I definitely going to use it next set up

I would gain room for 2 more Octopots and still keep my small tent lol

Well I think the covid got us. We had to run wife’s mom (89) to the hospital the other morning around 4:00 am or so, as she fell during the night. Somewhere in that 8-9 hour ordeal, in the ER waiting area, we got bugged. Seems pretty mild so far. We have beefed up our immune system for the past 20+. Oh well.
Update the grow!

The screens are filling up very nice now. In the first area, one of my ORFN’s, a single seed, found in my buds of Killer Grape, I grew out last few years or so.
Anyway, as I’m doing screen maintenance, I see the dual naughty bits, and execute that one, leaving 3 other plants to fill the screen. As branchy as the KG gets, the far left side has a KG, so her branches are filling that area just fine.

The dual screen area, is filling up also. Did a big defol, last evening, but I did not get all of it. I like to take from my plants and give some recovery time.
Maybe by Sunday, I will select a flower time and start that count down.
I’m so anxious to sample the Hyp3rids work, their SAWA IBL, and SAWA Natty. Hell I already know how stunning and loud the KG is.

I will cutting all my veggers in half today also. Lots of seed heaven choices.
Anyway stay well everyone.

Sending prayers and good thoughts my brother

Hey Papa, a huge thank you, those prayers worked a treat!! We have had way more harsh summer colds in the past. Tested positive, did the ritual, isolated, waited, retested a few days later, was negative, but we isolated the whole week to be sure.
Her mom, just tested negative as well, and she and mom are out walking for a bit!!
So, yeah, big JUJU in your thoughts and prayers man!!
Will grow post below.

SAWA IBL, SAWA Natty, are some tough plants!! Hyp3rids work is very solid, IMHO, as theses seeds/plants should have gotten themselves a much better grower than I am.
Those of you that suffer through my thread knows, I’m more sloppy and unregimented as most of the really excellent grows are.
The single screen area, has been in flower for a couple of weeks now. I did cull a ball buster, that was one of the Killer Grape S1 one of the ORPHN’s found in bud I grew out.
With the other 3 plants, the screen filled in like it was never there anyway.
Oh, I’ve not yet stripped the naughty bits off below the screen yet, so if hairy girls bother you, hide your eyes now.

Now over to the double screen area. 3rd day of flower, unshaved as well, SAWA` IBL, has huge leaves.

SAWA by hyp3rids, we had a bad week last week, to 10 days. Lost/killed a pump, and timer in 2 different areas. Had to cull some plants and replant in those lost in those areas. SAWA she clones like a champ. Since I still do the stupid in pot cloning, I would NOT had a SAWA copy as my regular clone area was full. But looking forward, to the replanted ones, I happened to have, had in my veg area. They are some of what diggy sent from the gripes I got when I signed up for the 2021 Fall Box offerings. I'm running the 2020 gripe, some 2021 gripe, and the third gripe ( it came a few days later on) maybe it's applefritter x kashmir as I was wanting to run this one since I read about it. Excellent germ rates diggy! I did not snap any pics of them yet. SAWA:

Best to everyone!

H’mmm, what up with the weird script in my post above me? Kinky!!
I’m a bit ashamed to say, I forgot about my LED’s way cool, dimmer, that I had turned way back during veg time, and as I loaded up the trays. I guess I’ll have to start leaving BIG notes on the wall, or I may forget it.
Once I spun them back up to just shy of full ON, I could see small positive changes each day.
I’ve not ever tasted or seen SAWA, but I already am starting to have *feelings for her* I may want to keep her around, a while. Just area 1 today, SAWA and Killer Grape S1 pics.

Wish you all the best!
