My first time

George, I was wondering if the new leafs are lighter that you think its nitrogen issue?

Nitrogen is a mobile nutrient, so when it is missing in new growth plant takes it from lower leaves, so those are the ones to yellow, not the top ones … beer3|nullxnull

No pistils yet, tnat’s a good notice because it would be much beter if the plant grows bigger before starting the flower stage. If you’ve got more seeds I would just start another one and apply the lessons you learned with this ine (mostly what to avoid doing to an auto), have a great Sunday … beer3|nullxnull

I was pulling the top branch too see whats going on under it, and it snapped just a lil bit.

I immediately took some cloth, and attached the snapped part back to its place. It snapped easily because it has been raining heavy for the last 7 days non stop. The plant has little oxygen. Quite weak, but hella green because I was adding slow release nute balls all these times.

What is the practice do people have with snapped branches? Does it heal back ? I mean, the wound is open, but tightened with a cloth.

So long as there is a flap attaching the branch to the stem you can usually keep them alive and generally you get them to heal. It’s amazing the abuse the plant can recover from.
Using a popsicle stick as a splint and duct tape normally works for me on the smaller breaks.
Large branches are more problematic as they need more structural support than a splint can provide, once I got away with using a plastic chair for three weeks but sometimes it’s just simpler to whack off the branch and hang it to dry if it is close enough.
Cable ties are tricky to use as the stems they are attached to keep growing and can strangle the branch if they grow for a couple weeks, so I avoid them if possible.

Cheers

You can use tape, splints, cloths, anything.

Just make sure it is where it was before, and dont forget about it! Or it will choke the stem. Haha, i made this mistake before.

Pretty much what @Gpaw said

Thanks, I was so worried about typhoon, but these plants are extremely resilient to any stress. Very much impressed. The plants has grown a lot and has been under the rain for 18 days out of 35 days.

Very sorry to tell you that I ruined 5 of your dosi kush bro. I didnt know that bacteria could ruin the taproots.

I am following the gpaw’s guidance to get better of your other seeds tho. Sorry again, and thanks for the experience. @leetdood

I am in a legal country for sure,

But regulations and laws are still annoying…

Every year i must pay a service to book a video chat with a nurse practitioner for them to write me a prescription. Naturally, they charge a profitable fee to me for this.

Then i send my prescription to the government with 11 page application and they process it and send me a license for 1 year from that approval date of the license.

So I can grow 195 medical plants indoors i believe, and obviously I am grateful for the opportunity.

But nobody charges me a fee if i want to grow 200 tomato or pepper plants indoors… or even count them.

Me and my friends also had a joke about the “mythical plant counting man” because who is going to count the plants in your home?

Turns out, its the fire marshal. I saw him counting with his finger. I think he gave up because he didnt take long enough to count 100.

My impression was he went

“One, two, three, four, five, eight, fuck it this isnt 200 plants anyway im not gonna count this”

Haha. Very unusual society is what you are describing. Here, in China, I am an expat, people are so afraid of this plant - which in chinese called “Da-Ma” - that they don’t even know how it is supposed to look. One day I really wanna experiment it and plant somewhere gorilla and see what happens.

This didnt happen overnight.

It used to be illegal, and used to be even if im allowed to be high around my family, they basically treat it like a taboo as you mentioned. Its not like heroin, but its not respectable either. You are a criminal to the law, maybe even a junkie in some eyes, if you smoke, sell, or grow it.

My mom would make “pothead” jokes and i said like that makes me feel shitty or attacked or whatever. She said shes just kidding around like i do about weed. I said yeah but im joking and not being negative and youre invoking this negative stereotype seeming like its making fun of me for enjoying a drug. People drink a lot and we dont sit around and say every drinker is a sad abusive addict with nothing in their life.

When it turned legal, i basically said, i wont smoke in your house or in front of kids but if youre adults who drink around the patio table dont get pissy if i wanna get my puffs in. I basically went like, i can be here having a good time or i can go home and be having a good time there.

Also, my mom grew to see that i work very hard on this and that it helps me be passionate and active. She wants me to smoke less but understands that i work very hard as a hobby farmer.

Its like saying, “mom i want to be a rapper”

Its legal now, but its still shifting to more and more normal. Not yet fully respectable.

They feel like ‘ah yes heres my son W-Dubble, he isnt successful yet but hes made five mixtapes so far. We think its very promising’

They view that situation as shameful, lol
