Well noted. I’ll probably start watering from the bottom, the roots will go down more, and to the sides too
Temperature usually between
30-32 defrees celcius at noon
28C at night
Humidity 75% minimum
Got some nice wind all day long

Never mind the plants being stressed, those temps and humidity would kill me lol.
Weed actually loves your temps and humidity. I’m on the opposite end of the scale. Super dry. Luckily you won’t have to water so much like me.
I wanna try to water from the bottom.
Can I put the pot in the bucket, and pour water into the bucket? Is that how it works?
Looking great! I’m a first time grower too, the community is so knowledgeable and supportive! Welcome!
Hey Rukus, I checked your pics before. You’re doing a lot better than me so far.
Thanks for looking over.
Waka, we both newbies man we can rely on eachother, share tips and tricks, what’s working and what’s not. I’m always open for a chat!
It’s better to get a pot saucer. Or a cake pan or something a little bigger. The bucket might work good if you have high temps or all day sun, by keeping the roots cooler by using the big pot as a shield.
But any garden place has watering saucers. Cheap plastic ones work fine. Just get one large enough to handle a day’s worth of water or close. It’s also another way to monitor your consumption. You can see how long it takes to dry the pan and take notes. You don’t have to but keep a mental note. It’s hard to overwater that way, too. Also keeping the top inch of soil dry will cut down on gnats or other bugs that will lay eggs in a moist environment.
Oh, the plant looks way better. I can see it perked up a little and has a better color to it. Looks like it stretched a little, too. Now it gets fun. Just feed weekly or whatever your schedule is and ease the the amounts of nutes up to normal as you see fit.
Great job. It’s like flying an airplane; the most dangerous times are during takeoff and landing. lol The next part, vegging, is a lot more forgiving but things can still slip on you like pests or deficiencies. But it’s a lot of waiting as it grows. peace
She difintely perked up after that feed, looking good
any soil you buy will have insects in it if you build your own soil it will have insects in it they or what make soil alive with out insects all you got is dirt i sugest you make clackamas coots no till soil you will know exactly what and how much organic amendments or in your soil
You could up the strength of your feed a little bit, that will darken them up a bit more.
I was actually thinking of adding something that can add bacteria in the soil, and I know there are other things plants will need besides NPK.
Any suggestion weather I should or shouldn’t do it?
If should, what exactly?
And sorry if this question is weird, but is poo of animal or human good for the plant? The reason why I am asking the place where I am from people used to buy poo of animals and Humans for money.
Bacteria and fungus are what break down the natural fertilizers in order for roots to be able to uptake them to the plant.
@regulator is close, but it’s not insects in the soil but microbes. People do call them bugs for short, but real insects in your soil is usually bad. They’ll eat the plant.
Microbes such as Mycorrhizae are beneficial and have a symbiotic relationship with the plant. They attach to the roots and break down and make nutrients available to the plant.
I would stay away from human poop. It’s not normally good to use and I’ll save all of the reasons why. Horse, cow, chicken, etc, are excellent sources of nutrients plus the microbes are all built in already. You always have to use composted manure for it to be any good. It will be too “hot” and will burn the plants if not left to compost.
If you have a farm nearby, or horse ranch, they are great sources for manure. It’s usually free if you load it. But, you can also buy composted cow manure in the garden centers most anywhere. It’s usually cheap compared to products aimed at weed growers. I bought a bag of composted cow manure recently for $3.99 US.
It’s the one thing, besides a little peat moss, that will condition your soil the easiest without having to study it much. It usually won’t burn the plants so you can just scratch it into your soil from the top before watering, or make a tea with it
Earth Worm Castings (EWC) are gold, also. Like cow poop, worm poop has lots of natural microbes inside and won’t burn the plants. A little more expensive that manure but not much. Those two are about all you need in the beginning. You’ll learn all of the details of organic farming as time goes by.
Cow poop and worm castings will do a lot for you and won’t have the risks associated with bottle nutrients.
Like Gman says, worm castings are best if you can find it, or composted animal manure if you want to add more bacteria and nutrients. Humans don’t tend to eat enough fiber or organic material, more a meat and fat oriented diet full of hormones and antibiotics, depending on where on the planet they are from.
If you get chicken poo manure, then dont go crazy with it its very high in Nitrogen, sheep cow and horse is better or a mix of all 4, sheep or goat is the best, its more balanced. Rabbit or Lama is very good if you can get it, as it doesn’t need to be composted, can be put straight onto the soil, but I dont think you have them where you are, unless some one is farming them.
Whatever you add as a compost will take a few weeks to get into the system, so you will need to feed her for a while with what you have atm.
Received.
I will check what I have here in chinese retail online shop.
I just checked my plant and now it has extra two leaves growing, which means, it’s has 5 leaves, not three. Pretty happy. The soil has dried out to 80% today but I am gonna leave it for another day so it will get completely dried out.
If you have an option to choose between earthworm dry fertilizer and earthworm manure. What would you choose? @GMan @Shadey?
Sounds exactly the same, except one is dried out.
Have you got a picture of the 2 or a link to some info for them?
