Does anybody know why my general hydroponics fertilizer says to lower the feeding dose during flowering? I would think I would have to increase the amount of nutrients… Any help would be greatful. Thanks!
Maybe because It Is a common practice to “flush” the medium before letting the plant ripen and take all the nutrients from the leaves as a plant in nature would do.
Or maybe because It Is known that as harvest approach the plant Is old and doesn’t Need so much nutrients
That Is my take on It.Can’t guarantee for sure tho
yeah i agree with @Andrexl with the getting ready to harvest to tapper down for the flush. plants are finishing the cycle now so they dont need much ive run nutrients all the way though with no flush and i really do not think it makes a difference in the finish buds as to science but who knows, most nutrients were made for tomato plants way back and same thing stop before you eat
@Andrexl @blendmedmedman thanks guys!
Colas look FAT
rwally nice my brother i can smell them from here the goodness of that unknown yet familiar scent
Thanks brother! They do smell good especially for as young as they are
Nice job, it smells apple from here! Hope you’ll have a wonderful harvest! Love Apple Betty too

@Justsmkn
We got balls all over the plant,but still they are Little and can’t take a good picture.I Will update you as soon as they bulk up
Sounds good bud!
really good to hear my spray this round didnt drop any pollen but i had a lot of sacks open so maybe the plants around it got something, but pretty frustrating. none the less its prob the strain. well ill be back at it with another spray but man im just trying to collect the pollen. keep me updated on your project @Andrexl
Looks like we have lot of balls growing in many of the Bud sites
@blendmedmedman @Justsmkn
Edit:Sorry,not balls,they are Bananas,nanners
How can I collect pollen from nanners?
I wouldn’t suggest using pollen from “nanners”. Like begets like, so you will have offspring that have a tendency to throw “nanners”. Most growers want sinsemilla (seedless) and avoid plants with intersex tendencies.
I suggest spraying the nanners with water and removing them with tweezers.
Usually good advice, but in this case he’s been spraying with STS. If there’s pollen in there at all, it’ll either be released naturally or you can crush the balls/nanners to get it out. Sometimes even when reversed, male flowers turn out sterile… and usually it takes some time for the pollen to build up as well. I’d say just wait and LITFA if all you’re trying to do is get pollen from it, @Andrexl - if you’re trying to self-pollinate this particular plant, though, you’re on a schedule and might have to crush the balls manually.
My goodness, how did I miss that? Looks like I have egg on my face.
sp3000 would be perfect for that tent. i have 2 sp6500s and love them. mine cover a 3.5x10 area perfect. your ladies look awesome btw
I have another sister,same Age but bigger,I want to pollinate and get same strain fem auto seeds,what do you suggest then?
Thank you @ReikoX ,no problem at all,Yes this Is my First reversal ever
I’m not really the one to talk to about auto reversals specifically, never done one… as I understand it though, the best way to do it is to plant the one you want to pollinate once you’ve already started spraying the one you’re reversing, which should be about two weeks before flower starts. You should end up getting pollen about a month later, I think, and at that point the mother should just be developing full flowers and ready to pollinate. I’m not sure your current grow lines up with that, so it might be best to just collect the pollen and use it later. I might also just be confused, as I said I’m not an auto breeder. I know @ReikoX has done at least a few though, I’ve already grown one of his auto fems. Maybe he has some better advice based on actual experience.
