My Water Culture

Its normal I’m my area for generators to go on once the power goes out until it goes back on. The whole street you will humming coming from all the houses for blocks throughout the night all day.
Power is a pretty basic need I think.

Yeah i didnt think about that. Our power is good enough that people dont usually have generators at home.

yah, I hear that. Costing me real product when the power goes down! So irritating too when I can’t play my computer games. You can hear generators firing up at all times around here. Health canada says you need power 24/7 to run your grow operation, even if it’s outside you need it for 24/7 offsite video surveillance. On rare occasion…the power doesn’t go out  PRobably not in the last 4 grows, they all had power outages. hah hah it’s like cannabis land around here so much growing going on.

@JoeCrowe I use a cheapy harbor freight generator like 300$. The one I use for my house we use for the camper too. Its served me fine for 3+ years. Its not the quietest or the most powerful . It probably wont last the longest either but it will work well enough for the price. 1 thing less to worry about.

@BudSy Us too but in the early winter here in new England if we get ice rain that will cover early fall leaves and reek havoc on the power grid. Wet icey leaves weight lines down and snap them.

Ah yeah right. Gets too heavy for the branches and they droop onto the lines. We have trouble with dirt settling on top of old power lines in the country areas. Then the first rains come and they short out and start bush fires. They started using helicopters with water blasters to go around dry parts of the country blasting the pole tops. Everything new here is underground now. But enough old infrastructure around that is still above ground to give semi regular short black outs.

ok here we go! some nice photos. These are the king tut, fresh from mega damage! They have recovered nicely and are growing towards the light.

unfortunately I got some light damage on the meat breath plants. They keep growing upwards!! So I guess I have to keep raising the light. At first I wasn’t sure what kind of damage it was, but then after checking all environmental variables, it was definitely too close to the HPS.

heh heh no power outages for a while

It’s a dang jungle in there

heh heh thanks, I love jungle trees! When the plants fill the entire grow area with buds I am one happy camper. Things are cruising along at EC 2.6 and PH 6.2! Environmental temps 22C, water 20C…RH at 45%. Life is grand when your hitting numbers like that… the plants really grow! lol in case anyone was wondering what my parameters are for environment. Keep it like that and things cruise along no bumpy rides.
The only thing I really have to watch is the bubbles in the bucket. Over time, salt crusts will build up inside and block the T, so then I take it off and restore the air flow. By that time, the roots of the plant have captured the air hose, so it won’t float up to the top even with positive buoyancy.

reminds me some crazy fucker said to make clones you take a cutting and hit it with a hammer. Where the hell did they get that idea? I mean, they made cannabis clones, but I wanted a grape clone. The claim was you take the cutting and smash one end with a hammer. I told em you just put the cutting in the ground and it roots. That seemed like a ludicrous idea to them???

plants are starting to flop around, I should secure them with at least 2 strings/pipe cleaners. Or else they could spin in place and get all wacked out. I am cultivating a batch of cellar dweller spiders in there. Those little critters, also known as daddy long legs, or long bodied cellar spider, are perfect for cleaning up other spiders or insects. They will eat all the fungus gnats that are harboring in the grape fruit tree seedlings. Or any ants that try and get in. I had some move into my citrus tree cloning chamber one year then reproduce into many little spiders. That’s when I realized the little buggers could work for me, all they need is some gnats for payment. Now I am the Spider Lord.

The Meat breath plant smells like toilet bowl cleaner, I swear. OR laundry detergent or something strange. We’ll see, in the end, what it’s like.

My friend grew this weed he called black indica, but the shit was so bitter! Now how the fuck do you grow bitter weed? I mean I swear I had smoked some of that stuff before and it wasn’t bitter. He was one of the people I taught how to grow DWC weed, but then he tossed all that under the bus now he’s getting 1/4 the yield. I also notice he’s got a bottle of acid I told him to toss out 2 years ago. Filthy liar was using it all along no wonder he was having PH swing problems. OK so that’s what he did to fail in DWC. I told him the PH was good at 6.2 but he bought some acid and started fighting with the DTP buffers. Then his plants got all warped from ph swings, so I told him to toss out the acid so nobody could kill his plants. Instead he changed to dirt growing and kept the acid. He would also add this “enzyme” that made my eyes burn. It was probably responsible for all the ph shifts. In the end, it all boiled down to “he bought what the grow store owner wanted him to” even though I told him the store dude was full of old school shit he had self-published a book on how to grow. Unfortunately this “book” was full of stupid shit like “use metal halide” it represent the “spring” spectrum of light and HPS is the “fall spectrum” Man you would think they could read a book written by an actual PHD about growing.

That sucks man, guess he figured the hydro shop guy knew more than you.

lol sucks for him, you mean. Personally I like to do measurements, that ensure I’m not botching the whole operation!

reminds me, COVID got to the government and forced them to add another 5 months to my license and cannabis prescription! Pretty fucking sweet, go go gadget COVID-19!!! Only Health Canada can break their own rules.

I need to move to Canada

ok time for an update! They are looking good despite minor damage! The big bud plants are further ahead in bloom, even though they have been in the room for practically the same time.

I guess I should trim off the damaged leaves…although in truth, I don’t really care.

lol I had run out of micro nutrients on the big buds and light burned the meat breath! I’m sure it’ll be ok though. I’ve done crazier shit in the past like allow the plant to grow right next to the light.

The Spider Lord commands you… eat gnats.

There is a picture of my symbiote! Yes, that is a citrus tree pictured with a female cellar dweller named Gert. Eventually a male will show up and after a day of canoodling the female will lay a cluster of eggs she carries around until they hatch. This spider could live a couple months I think. Depending on current age. Things aren’t looking good for the fungus gnats. The plant is a grapefruit seedling, which is pre-citrus greening. If things keep going the way they are, I’ll be one of the only humans on the earth with a viable tree.

hah hah if you are wondering how I know it’s a female, the males have their reproductive organs on their face. Bizarro world! Why did the spider wear pants on it’s head? Because it’s junk is on it’s face!!!
