Gonna need something to put in that rig, so picked up this little monster which arrives this week. The essentials seem to be there, curious on the quality (but I can always fabricate a beefed up frame if need be)
No hash? no rosin / wax / oils? I have a “Kind Pen” which can be used with carts, or you can burn flower in a chamber with a heating coil. The flower was meh, carts were good… Can make your own carts too if ya want, but I’m still on the fence about their thinning agents.
I gotta say though, a good rosin / wax will probably put you on the floor with your tolerance level
I like the fact that there’s less combustible material in rosin / wax. Yes, yer still pulling smoke into your lungs but its not as much crap as smoke filled with burning plant matter too…
Gonna try diffusing some into some extracts / milk too and infuse ice cream here hehehe. I assume I may have to heat it some to decarb it before as there’s no heat in the ice cream making process to handle that task. Yes, I feel like a kid who just got a chemistry set mwuhahaha
I guess hash is a concentrate huh? Ok so besides hash (and vape carts) I don’t mess with concentrates. No wax or shatter or crumble or whatever. You’re right about my tolerance level though cause I imagine I’d be snackered if I hit some wax!

Vape carts aren’t far off of rosin / oils, it just has a thinning agent (some call them “terpenes” and maybe some are but most are thinning agents to allow the oil to soak in). I’ll admit, the manner of consuming most concentrates looks REAL druggy, like I have a creme brulee torch here, well, it looks a little uh, much? That rig looks less druggy
Also snagged an oil can for my glass bong, never used one before, but hey, there’s always that first time hehe
I can’t say I’ve ever had dab hits either… I’m still in the stone age, RSO is the only concentrate I’ve ever made myself. I’m not even particularly sure what dabbing means as opposed to all the other concentrates. I do buy vape pens from the dispensaries, though not the ones in Jersey because they’re a ripoff… and my friend occasionally brings over “caviar” from the dispensaries, which is bud soaked in an oil extract and then rolled in crystals, and that hasn’t managed to knock me out yet. We’ve also taken hits of straight RSO, of course, which is harsh but definitely does the job. I guess I’ll see what this is and if I can handle it, I know I’ve cooled down some on smoking since I was a kid. No more 3’ bongs, much less 6’, or gravity bong hits; the sheer volume of smoke is too much for me. I’m getting too old for this shit!
we had (I still have) a 2’ graffix, with a 2’ extension. Pulled it out the other day for a pic, couldnt tell you the last time she was used. For that exact reason, that volume of smoke hurts!
Dabs are easy, in essence heat up a rig with the torch till its RED hot. Wait a minute for it to cool while you are scraping off a hit from the rosin, then just touch that rosin to the hot glass and POOF! instant smoke and for me, nowhere near as harsh as flower.
When you try to smoke em with flower, it gets more difficult (unless you got a liquidy oil, ie moonrocks and dipped joints). ]
Yeah, dabs do sound pretty easy, and that’s probably a nice pure smoke. Ok, twist my arm.
I love that you say this immediately after talking about joints… it feels like joints and blunts are the most wasteful way to smoke, even in a circle. So much ends up drifting away into the air.

Joints are just a guilty pleasure. Partly atmosphere and aroma in addition to the smoked effects. Joints just bring me into a concert… That smell of an arena filled with pot smoke.
Blunts? BLAH… I had a friend who smoked nothing but backwoods blunts. If ya wanna ruin the weeds taste and flavor, why not just smoke the stems in the backwoods, and keep the flower for a bowl? I guess there’s a time and a place, and I’ve smoked some fine blunts, but its the lowest on my go-to list for sure!

yessir they are! I tried and hated 1g, and the 3g push it to the very edge, if not over, depending on the bag (have a few types here). The 2g seems to fit just perfectly
Not feeding them much other than epsom salts, the soil mix is handling it otherwise so far (learned by burning the others with potassium).
Top watering only a tiny bit, usually to “finish up” whats in a gallon milk jug that I was using to water the others. Bottom watering, those reservoirs are filling with roots, and they get a 1g refill every 2-3 days on avg (RH is 55%, temp 72-77)…
